Chapter 19: A Profession
"I bestow upon you the nobility status of a Duke"
The nobles in the entire throne hall murmured.
"Your majesty, I apologize because I dare to s-"
"Then don't apologize..." Lia said as she glared at the noble who tried to talk. "I resent you all, don't make me act on it. You all have not been stripped of your titles because you all are important members of this Kingdom's court and you have the experience. You have served the kingdom longer than I, and I need those experiences of yours. But if you dare question my decisions, I won't hesitate to robe you all with treason"
The noble gulped and bowed his head.

"Your majesty?! That is too much, Tirianae is a megalopolis, a city that has always been ruled by the Royal family."
"Viscount Romany, are you a member of the royal family?"
"No your majesty" he replied with a bow.
"Is there any other member of the royal family that I missed?"
"No, your majesty" Viscount Romany replied.
"Okay, so does Tirianae have a lord?"
"No, your majesty"
"Does Tirianae need a lord? Because I remember just yesterday's court meeting, we were still talking about how to feel the spot and some of you were expressing your greed of daring to desire what belongs to the royal family" She said.
"I apologize for my thoughtlessness"
"It's a good thing you know how thoughtless you were, does anyone have anyone have an objection to my order"
The entire hall was silent.

Leon stood up and accepted the royal sword of authority the Queen stretched out to him. His face glittered as he was donned in a standard shirt, buttoned up fully to support the graceful bow tie he was wearing. On top of the shirt he's wearing a classy vest with 4 buttons, it has a fairly deep v-line, it's just narrow enough for the top to remain visible, adding another layer to the overall look of the suit. The jacket perfectly wrapped around his body. It has a subtle pinstripe pattern which gives the suit an elegant look. The 3 buttons of his single-breasted jacket have been left unbuttoned, the jacket is slightly longer at the back, it has a vent at the back and there's a breast pocket which has been left empty. Accompanied with pants which copy the style of the jacket, both in colour and pattern and they're a perfect match for his boots and lavish pair of cap-toe boots.
He walked out with elegance and let out a sigh of relief.
"I know how suffocating it can be inside there. I hate court matters and I can't help but pity her majesty. Which is why I decided to stay back and serve beside her. I am glad you decided to accept this responsibility. This way she won't be lonely" Knight Barrister who was standing outside the throne hall said to Leon.
Leon smiled, "I think her majesty is lucky to have you. You are always worrying about her" Leon smiled, "However Knight Barrister, you kind of owe me something"
"Oh, of course, how can I forget..." Knight Barrister said with a pretentious chuckle.
"I'll be expecting the transfer of funds sir, you can keep your old house and I returned the leather armour too, please make sure the money is everything within your possession," Leon said smiling at the Knight, tapping his shoulder and walked away.

'I don't care...he was the one that said he will give everything' Leon said and headed to the room he was temporarily staying in the castle.
After taking off his jacket, he sat on a chair.
"Now...let's settle this. Show me the profession I got"

More Perks will be available after completing advancement quests or when you complete certain actions(actions cannot be revealed)

Director Charles stood with his hand pocketed, he glared at the large screen in front of him.
"Should we contact the chairman?" a staff asked.
"No it's fine, prepare me an NPC in the save slot, I'm going in"
"I can't allow that Charles," The chairman said as he entered inside.
"What do you mean? I am just trying to protect Aron" The director said.
"Don't worry, Aron will protect itself, I think Aron chose him..."
"That's absurd, Aron is a game. A game we created with an internal artificial intelligence to decide and plot things on its own. It is our creation"
"No doubt, but Aron is also a world, an alternate reality. I'm not stopping you from going inside to stop him from playing the game. But you must go just like everybody else, level up, get stronger and if you can succeed in making him leave. I won't complain" The chairman said.
"Fine! It's okay, I'll make him see hell" Director Charles said with a determined expression on his face, while the chairman was smiling, he seemed to be enjoying whatever was going on.
