The protagonist begins with strength and grows stronger over time.
At the start of the story, the main character feels confused and struggles to adjust to the Tower, much like an ordinary person.
While the main character is kind and affectionate, there are moments when he become angry and behave selfishly or maliciously. This story doesn't feature a perfect "Knight in shining armor" protagonist. He is human too, like you and me.
If you're seeking shallow characters, you won't find them here. Every character, no matter how minor, has a backstory.
Nox, too, holds a intricate past that will gradually unfold throughout the novel.

Peak Power (MythicBunny) Rating 4 Stars Chapters 9/9 as of 5/19/22 Plot – Good Peak power seems to take inspiration for the 2CoG, It follows the story line of Nox and Luke with one being a normal civilian with a tragic past and one being a domain heavy hitter of some sort. the two match well as when the limits of traditional wisdom meet their end the lines of fantasy begin. Story flow - Good so far as of 9 chapters, the setting just changed from reality to fantasy. for the 1st chapter that would be the basis of fantasy while the 8 chapters reality. The story flow for the reality piece is straight forward and easy to follow and understand. with characters being introduced as the story needs them so there is nothing to confuse the reader. However there are some consistencies that pop out and are ignored on some scenes like time, distance etc. overall still good. Favorite Chapter - Chapter 7 Beginning 6 - The author writes with such fluency in choreographing fight scenes. Nox seems to be verse in Muai Thai and it shows as Mystic Bunny's verbiage in the entire chapter is profound. allowing for smooth transitions of scenes and not forgetting the placements, positions and the like. Favorite Character - Nox (Possible 2nd mind) Nox seems really interesting as a character as he shows his ability to ride a grey morality line, but focuses on trying to be clean in some areas. This initially made me think he was just a bad character however as I read along I found something more. 3 things I liked 1. Mark and Luke dynamic - sworn friends turned rivals is always an interesting mechanic. and Although these two only appeared for 1 chapter, their clash of ideologies and beliefs left an impression for me, so I want to know what happens next. one desires power while the other peace. 2. Nox's lock picking skills - dude my boy is a legend, ever heard of trying to pick a lock with a branch? how about a lock with a bobble pin? dudes thieving skills leave even Lupin the 3rd in the dust. 3. Nox(2nd mind) - I initially though Nox was a badly written character, he is so inconsistent in both his beliefs , motives and actions like he has two personalities. he keeps on using according to me, which makes no sense if you are only one person. however all that changed with chapter 4 beginnings 3 where Nox was skulljacked by his body to do stuff he didn't want to do. it then dawned on me that the reason for his seemingly bi polar lifestyle and moral compass was because the author is hinting there is someone else in his mind. 3 Things I didn't like 1. Tower master - Nerf this Op old man, who in the world uses the skill of other people to lock themselves up, this isn't anything like reflecting. Old coot casted the magic while the Luke didn't even want the skill activated. Actual review So the plot is nothing special nor is the story flow outstanding, MythicBunny seems to specialize in action as from what I read in Chapter 1 and 7 as both were very well written without any gaps in logic or belief. however what I like the most and in fact I believe is a stroke of genius is the apparent 2nd character in Nox. I shall call him Nox Alter, if one takes the oddities in Nox's behavior and lifestyle and attributes it a second mind. it would explain alot from the seemingly white knight persona but commits crimes like he went in and out of jail multiple times, to the nonsensical debate he was having about helping the Vladson's daughters and yet still helping her after the skulljacking. (meaning = Skull is Hi-Jacked some one else is driving the body.) if this was a coincident the author is good and if this was intentional the amount of foreshadowing and though is amazing. Overall as this is the 1st attempt I give the book 4 Stars, the piece with Nox alter is a stroke of genius. the fight scenes were awesome and the story flow coherent. I eagerly await what happens next more power to you MythicBunny!
Rating: 5.0 Chapters read 12/12 Plot: Excellent Story flow: Excellent Favorite chapter: 8 Favorite character: Nox 3 things I liked: 1. The well-detailed and well-explained change of events, how the story migrated from a detective to a swordsman. 2. The beginning of the story as a detective. Such high deductive skills of the Nox, his high level of intelligence made me hooked from the beginning. 3. The idea of a survival from the death by participating in some challenge to climb the tower and became the God is an excellent idea. There is not even a single thing I didn't like. The work is excellent. Actual review: The story of a detective who were doing his best to help those who need, suddenly take an unexpected twist, when he decided to put into jail the man of higher levels of society. The sudden second chance to live was given to him, but this change might seem to be rather different from what he expected, and expected he to have something like that at all? The story is great, the idea, the plot... Everything is on such a high level, it made me hooked from the beginning. My high recommendations for everyone to read it!
Hmm. Not bad not bad. This one was a pretty decent one having a balence between nerve racking and heart soothing moments. Although it was a unique start the book was originally starting in chapter 8, I guess. Before that if you ask me it was like what-Tang-San-was-before-reincarnation moments. It was a perfect breeze before the storm. Good attention to details. even the words were very clean. The world background was not yet introduced due to few reasons and you will know when you read. Character design: this was the sauce I enjoyed the most in this dish. His thoughts and his principles were intimidating as realistic. story development was not bad but it was just the start of the novel so I should wait to give a more acceptable answer. your boat is sailing smoothly but what would you do if a storm strikes and renders you to hit the rock bottom!!! the story is about Nox (the mc), a personal investigator and one who is highly excellent in his job. From accomplishing small personal missions to getting some top criminals disguised as billionaires locked up behind bars, he has done it all. The aspiration that drove him to achieve it all was the hope that someday he'll find about his own parents who went missing around a decade ago. Not my style to give spoilers here, but long story short his life took a complete roundabout when he was transported to a different world, one devoid of normal human things, one that constituted strange creatures and some chosen humans, one who were summoned by the tower. On top of it all, now lies a trial in front of him and the others like him, a trial to judge their abilities. the rest is up to you all to read. personally, i enjoyed the story. The protagonist is outstandingly written with his keen and observant qualities and his other skills he has acquired by being a spy. he could see on the surface and under it too and thats one of the things i liked. talking about the author, apart from formulating up a good plot and story, author also did an amazing job detailing everything with a precise amount of imageries and world background. books like these shouldnt be missed, so add this one to your libraries you all

It's just that, i feel the story could probably go a bit fast? Maybe i am wrong but thats what / how i think. World background could be more detailed, even though it's a world before isekai, explanations could help a bit. But again my lord, it doesn't change much. Just that, it would've helped more. Else, there is nothing to say. Simply awesome✨
World building is stellar and very intriguing. Protagonist gives off a pedantic/Monk vibe which is quite interesting as well. He's strong, but not conceited at all.
the story is rather unique even though I read a ton of novel that has the same plot im getting the feeling of how the characters are written and how they act seems to be different from what I've read

Read 8 chapters and from these chapters, I loved each part of the chapter. Couldn't stop myself from reading this book. I will recommend it. Please update more chapters when you have some more time to spend. I[img=update]
Oh boy do I have things to say about this. First of all the novel, barely has any grammatical mistakes or at least not many I've noticed. The concept itself was quite interesting, he started as a detective to find his parents and even know I bet that would be good goal in completing the tower. Although chapter 8 gives me similar vibes as tower of god, I think there chapter was delightful. It feels as though that's the chapter where things are now starting. Even the detective part was quite entertaining, although I did guess that Marie was behind it. I'll be honest this has plenty of potential and I would encourage the author to continue. I can hardly find any faults in the novel to be honest , I recommend y'all to try.
The story is refreshing considering from all the system, detective and other ML novels. Writing quality is good for a first timer. Author's writing style makes it easy to.understand what he wants to convey. This book looks promising. If the synopsis is developed a little better, it would be awesome. all the best author.
This novel has a lot of potential. The writing quality of the author is quite impressive considering it's their first novel and beyond that they seem to have a great grasp on what they want to do with the story. Keep up the great work author! The only change I would have is to increase the chapter rate, once you do that you're golden.
This book is just getting started and I feel like the most recent chapter (chapter 8) is really where the action begins. I think the MC is an upstanding guy and he will likely prove to be a great hero. I am looking forward to what awaits him and the others in the trials ahead!
