Chapter 57: The Reunion

At the top of a moonlit mountain, Lucifer and Abaddon observed the village in the distance. "If I may ask, what is your interest in that human?" Abaddon questioned.

"You heard my conversation with him, didn't you? So you know why I have an interest in him," Lucifer responded nonchalantly. "After all, unlike Varda, he has something special," he added in a mysterious tone, leaving Abaddon curious.

Abaddon was satisfied with the answers she received and, without questioning Lucifer's decisions, decided to follow him. "Anyway, let's go. I'm eager to see him again," Lucifer said, leaping off the cliff towards the dark village. Abaddon followed him without hesitation.

Even without knowing Lucifer's plans, she trusted him and knew he had a reason to want to find the human again. Together, they headed towards the village, ready to find that man.

Jacob and Grace were lying together, gazing at the starry sky. It was a quiet and peaceful night, everyone else in the village was asleep.

Jacob broke the silence, asking, "Have you ever seen a shooting star, Grace?"

Grace laughed, "Jacob, that's too cliché. But, to answer your question, I've never seen a shooting star before. And you?"

"I've seen a few," Jacob replied. "But I've never had the courage to make a wish. What would you wish for if you saw a shooting star?"

Grace thought for a moment before answering with a smile, "I would wish for an entire castle just for me."

Jacob chuckled, "Ah, that's what you want, huh? Well, maybe one day I can build a castle just for you."

Grace smiled and rested her head on Jacob's chest. They remained silent for a while, just enjoying each other's presence and admiring the stars. Jacob and Grace's relationship was natural and relaxed, full of conversations and jokes that only a couple who knows each other well can have.

Jacob and Grace's relationship was not just the result of a quiet and lonely night, but rather of a journey full of challenges and adventures. After leaving the elven kingdom, they faced many obstacles together and built a unique connection.

In the early days outside the elven kingdom, Jacob and Grace faced various difficulties, from the lack of supplies to encounters with dangerous creatures. However, with each obstacle overcome, they became more united and confident in their partnership.

On one occasion, while crossing a dense forest, they came across a giant creature blocking their path. Jacob was ready to fight, but Grace had a different idea: she approached the creature and began to sing an ancient song that her grandmother used to sing. Surprisingly, the creature calmed down and allowed them to pass.

It was in these moments of difficulty that Jacob and Grace discovered how much they could trust each other. They became a team, working together to overcome challenges and protect each other. And so, their connection grew and strengthened.

Now, lying together under the stars, they felt invincible. They had overcome many obstacles together and were ready to face anything the world threw their way. They knew that as long as they were together, nothing could stop them. Or so they thought...

Suddenly, Jacob and Grace were surprised by a huge explosion that echoed throughout the village. They quickly got up, alert and ready to face any threat. That was when they saw Lucifer, a woman of indescribable beauty, hovering in the air next to Abaddon.

"What the hell is going on?" exclaimed Grace, while Jacob looked on in shock.

"It seems like our demon friends decided to make a dramatic entrance," Jacob replied sarcastically.

Lucifer looked directly at Jacob and Grace and said, "Jacob, my dear. It's been a while since we've seen each other."

Jacob was surprised to hear this, not knowing how to react. "Why are you here?" he asked.

"Why am I here? It's because I came to get what's rightfully mine," Lucifer replied with a seductive smile on her lips.

"He is under my protection," Grace replied, firm in her position.

"Then we'll have to fight for him," Lucifer replied with a malicious smile.

Abaddon stood next to Lucifer, ready to attack. Jacob and Grace prepared for the ensuing battle.

But before anyone could make any moves, several blue magical arrows were violently shot towards Lucifer and Abaddon.

Lucifer noticed the arrows approaching and was surprised by the amount of mana that had been deposited in them. However, he easily blocked the arrows by conjuring a protective shield around him.

"I won't let you take Jacob," Ellie said in a calm but determined tone.

Lucifer frowned, clearly surprised by her presence. "Who are you?" she asked.

"That doesn't matter. What matters is that I won't allow you to cause any more destruction in this village," she replied, with a firm gaze.

The tension in the air was palpable, and everyone present was ready to act. What would happen next was an unknown, but one thing was certain: the battle that was approaching would be epic.
