Chapter 7: Book 1 - Chapter 7: The Hall of Darkness
I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was the blinding sunlight and my ruined house.
'W-what has happened? Were we attacked by monsters?'
My parents walked towards me with dumbfounded faces.
"A-Alen, don't lie to father. Did you learn to control Mana?"
I was surprised to hear my father's question and could only answer honestly.
"Y-Yes"
"B-But dad, what exactly has happened to our house?"
My father just looked down, I looked at my mother and her face seemed to be still in confusion, she seemed to want to say something but she couldn't say it.
"Son, it's all because of your mana explosion" my father said with a serious face.
"WHAT?!" And I could only be surprised.

After what had happened, my mother asked me a lot of questions and I could only answer as much as I could, my father decided that we would leave for the royal capital today, since the house was no longer livable.

I grasped splinter wood and closed my eyes, so I could go to that place again.
When I opened my eyes, I was sitting on the throne again. The wood chip I was holding came with me as well.
"So I can bring something here if I want it" This was one of the experiments to see what I could do here.
I placed the wood chip on the floor and returned.
I was still in a sitting position while grasped, my mother and father kept watching me.
I opened my hand and the wood chip was gone.

I can go there at will and bring whatever I want.
"Woah, the wood chips disappeared. Alen, are you learning magic too?" Asked my mom enthusiastically.

I stood up from the throne and started trying to pass the time here.

I made a new Fire Ball but this time it was much bigger, probably around 10 meters in size.
