Chapter 5: Its a trap
"Young Master!!"
When Ye Xinghan was in the middle of making a plan to approach the Winged Dragon family, he heard a shout from outside the training ground. It was the chubby servant kid who was running towards him.
The chubby kid runs at his full speed which was still exremely slow, his face was beaming with smile as he waved his hands to Ye Xinghan.
"Be careful!" Ye Xinghan shouted. But it was too late
The chubby kid accidentally stepped on a stone and stumbled. His fat and round body was rolling at high speed, before finally sprawling at Ye Xinghan's side.
'Is that even possible?' The corner of his eyes twitched.
"Sigh, pay more attention next time." Ye Xinghan said as he offered his hand, "So, is there anything you need to tell me?"
"Thank you, young master" The chubby kid gratefully held Ye Xinghan hand and stand up.
"Young master!, me and the other kids are planning to sneak into Holy Orchid Institute's training ground. Do you want to come with us?" The chubby kid said excitedly, exploring every single places inside the Glory City was his pursuit of life. His adventurous soul tells him that this was his perfect chance to realized one of his dream.
"WHAT?" Ye Xinghan's eyes nearly popped out, these kids are really too daring.
Holy Orchid Institute is the school of Glory City that trains fighters and demon spiritualist. They have several classes which divide their students based on their talents and future. And they have a speciality which is Holy Orchid Institute's training ground.
Holy Orchid Institute's training ground was established by the legend rank demon spiritualist Lord Ye Mo (which is Ye Xinghan's grandfather) and the principal of the school. The training ground is surrounded by towering walls and every year experts in Glory City would capture some low level demon beast and place them into it.
The training ground is purposedly reserved for the students below silver ranks. They can enter the ground to hunt demon beasts for beast materials and training. Hitting two birds with one stone.
But the thing is, even the lowest demon beast inside the training ground is not something they can handle. Moreover, the entrance was strictly guarded, preventing those who want to enters but didn't have the qualifiation.
"Don't worry young master. We already dug out the sands beneath the tall wall, so we don't have to enter through the front." said the chubby kid proudly as he lifted up his chin towards the sky, waiting to be praised by his young master.
"THAT'S NOT THE MAIN POINT. WHAT IF YOU BARGE IN CARElessly and accidently found out by a demon......" Ye Xinghan didn't manage to finished his sentence before he fell into silent.
Yes, what he need right now was a hidden place where he could go all out without fear of exposing his power to anyone.
But why he need to hide it? Because he wasn't strong enough to contend the Dark Guild and Sacred Family. If he keeps a high profile and showing off too much, it was not hard to guess that they will immediately silence him before he grows. After all, both of them were the actual nemesis of Snow Wind Family.
Although he doesn't really have much affection of this family, but if the tree falls, the nests won't escape either. Meaning his current condition is tightly tied to Snow Wind Family.
The stronger the family, the safer he is.
Looking at the current situation, Holy Orchid Institute's training ground was the perfect hidden place for him. It was very wide, has dense tree forest to cover his devil fruit ability, and more importantly, it was very unlikely to bumped into other people.
But bringing these kids would make an unnecessary trouble because Ye Xinghan was not sure that he could protect them.
"You guys are indeed brilliant, a talent rarely seen in thousands years. With such progress, i won't find it weird if you guys make it big in this life." Ye Xinghan clapped his hands as he generously complimented the kids.
"Yes, yes, yes young master!" The chubby kid nodded his head like a chicken, his eyes getting brighter each second as he listened to his young master praises. ' I'm really that amazing?' he thought.
"Of course you are amazing, now tell me, where's the place you digged a hole?" Ye Xinghan praised the kid one more time as he mustered his most-handsome and kindest smile.
"Ahahaha, if young master walking through the XXXXXX street. Turn to left until you see XXXX building. Finally, at the back of the building that facing the tall wall, you will see a freshly dug soil which is covered by grass and a log. Just slide the log and you will immediately found a small tunnel." The chubby kid naively told Ye Xinghan the exact location without thinking too much.
"Tsk tsk, when i first saw you, i know that you were hiding a world shattering talent inside you. It turns out that it was really true." Ye Xinghan shook his head and sighing at how wonderful the kid is.
The chubby kid feel elated, he fell in trance imagining how wonderful his future would be. Because the one who said it was the young master, it must be true!
"HEAD SERVANT FENG!" Ye Xinghan shouted.
Before long, the man with scar in the face came to him, "Yes, young master!"
"Please help me find all the strange herbs around Glory City, be it spicy or sour or bitter or anything. Bring it all to me.
Oh, and the meat from beasts as well. Edible or not edible. Just bring all of them in small portion" Ye Xinghan said as he tore a piece of paper and started scribbling on it. "The details are written on this paper." He handed out the paper to the head servant.
"As your command, young master!" said the head servant as he prepared to leave.
"Oops i forgot, please bring this fatty with you as well. He and the other kids are planning to sneak inside Holy Orchid Institute's training ground. It was too dangerous for them." Ye Xinghan said without changing his face, now that he got what he want, this fatty didn't have value anymore.
The head servant expression slowly turned dark as he heard that. These kids really courting death for asking young master to sneak inside the training ground. They didn't learn anything from the last accident.
"Rest assured young master, i will make sure that they won't appear before you again." the head servant said in low voice as he dragged the fatty by the collar.
"Well, no need to be so extreme. Just a spank or two will do for them." said Ye Xinghan as he excitedly waved his hand the same manner as when the fatty waved his hand earlier to him.
The fatty who was still paralyzed in shock immediately recovered his sense as he shouted, "YOUNG MASTER" as he bursted out in tears. A couple of minutes ago, his young master was still praising him, and now young master immediately sold him! He didn't understand why!
