Chapter 46: A Deal Breaker(Rewrite)

As this was the first time Kurayami had experienced something like this it kind of paralyzed him. Kuroka ended up continuing to please him, but he ended it when he almost got too worked up and nearly had sex with her halfway through. Out of respect for his wishes, she did not do that despite what she wanted.

Instead, she just cuddled up to him as she felt that was fine for the first time.

"Kurayami, did you like it? I only did what I read in a porno."

She flipped around as she looked up at his face. He was covering his eyes as he truly did not expect it to feel like that. When he moved his hand out of the way she saw his black and purple eyes seemed a little distracted.

"I did. How about you?"

"I loved it. You certainly are a stud."

"Thanks."

Seeing how she had affected him brought her some pride. She was not about to tell the other girls as they would rush to do the same. Most of the others were 15, the same age as Kurayami and Fallen Angels who are innately Sinful.

Telling them would get them worked up so she would keep secret what they did. But, Kuroka had to say that he did not look 15 at all. She was only 18, but he looked much older than she did on top of his impressive size. She crawled up his body until she was on his chest. They looked each other in the eye before they shared a last kiss before they got up to take a shower.

It was still midday so they had a lot of time to spend, but this was a good start to the day. When he entered the shower, he noticed it was huge and had enough space for several people.

"Really? Is everything harem-sized here."

Shin crawled out of his shadow with a disturbed expression on his face. Seeing that made Kurayami feel bad.

"My bad."

Shin barked to say he was good before he jumped back into the shadows. It was nice in there for him. Kuroka just chuckled at the sight.

"Devils have these giant beds, rooms, and showers so they can have raunchy orgies. All to offset that pregnancy deficiency. And it is a symbol fo status for a devil to be able to go with so many women at once."

Kurayami nodded with an enlightened look on his face.

"When I make my house soon and move out I will ask Sirzechs for a Devil-based house."

Kuroka cat ears perked up.

"You are moving out of Miss Shuri's house?"

He nodded as he turned on the shower to a warmer temperature. He needed temperature extremes to feel it depending on what the weather was like outside, but he did it for Kuroka's sake.

Unlike him, she did not have his durability. He called her soft and squishy as she was still normal unlike him.

"I have been wanting to move out for a while. Living with my parents as I have a harem is not all perfect. Not to mention I have stayed home for my Mother's sake to keep her safe in her current state. Once everything is safer, I will move out to have more time for myself and you girls."

Kuroka felt that was a great idea. They both got in as it was more than big enough for the two of them and they removed all the sweat and sex smell from their bodies. They spent a good half hour just relaxing in the shower before they got out and got dressed again.

He removed the bounded field and sat on the bed. Shin emerged from his shadow again as he no longer needed to stay away. The dog jumped on the bed as he wanted to spend time with the both of them. Kurayami and Kuroka did not mind as they started to pet the bear-sized dog.

Kuroka felt that she did not get burned when Incinerate Anthem touched her as Shin willed it so it didn't. He was no longer bound to the Heaven System as much as before so it could no longer set too many rules on it. This was one rule he started to ignore completely.

"Alright, what do you suppose we do until this so-called party is started? They said it would take 5 days."

Kuroka thought about when she was still in a peerage what Devils did.

"They are having the party soon as they will gather the important people as a show. They did say the other Lords of the houses would be there to show off. And I assume they will bring their daughters, granddaughters, nieces, and the like to you.

Kurayami sighed as he thought of that. He looked at the cross around his neck which functioned as his Spatial Ring. He reached into it and pulled out the pile of names Serafall had left him.

At the top of the list was her name as she was the main favorite. All they cared about was Pure Blood and authority to match the next Governor General which was him. He opened it up and began to speed read through every name, which clan they were from, and the girl in question.

Along with it, he pulled out another pile of notes which was gathered by Azazel's spies. Azazel had a massive spy network in the territory of the Devild and with both lists, he managed to get an overview of the girls offered to him.

All of them were Nobles for one, but they were radically different. He began to use his standards to make a new list of names he would consider. That made the large list drop to just over 23 names.

Shin perked up as he looked at it. He could not read, but he could copy his master and look like he could. Kuroka had not read it so she looked over his shoulder to look at it as well.

Seeing what he had done made Kuroka feel that he and Azazel were quite thorough.

"From that big list of names, only 23 remain. Will you consider any of these?"

Kurayami pondered on that himself.

"Some of them are of interest to me, Ravel Phenex is a choice, but she is on the younger side. 12 years old and is currently serving in her brother's peerage as his bishop."

Kuroka's ears flopped.

"You don't think he is-"

He shook his head.

"No. Azazel didn't say it at the time, but our spy network is massive. We know who Riser is and while his peerage is his harem, he most certainly has not touched Ravel. His mother lady Phenex would kill him if he did."

Kuroka sighed in relief.

"Good. Unlike you and Akeno that would just be creepy."

Shin nodded as he acted like he came up with it.

"Your right. New names, Seekvira Agares, Sona Sitri, Latia Astaroth, Lucille Paimon, Sona Sitri, Serafall's sister, Siliva Zepar the list just keeps going on. And each clan suggested several names and these are just the ones who passed through my strict conditions."

Kuroka began to list them off.

"So, these girls at least train to master themselves, not spoiled or entitled, and have their own goals. Man, you and Azazel have really good spies."

He nodded as before, Grigori was full of mostly Fallen Angels with a single pair of wings. Because of him, Azrael, Raynare, and Akeno, it was no longer socially acceptable to remain at that level. Azazel had set up training camps where they would be drilled to improve to at least 2 maybe 3 pairs of wings.

Without a proper lineage like Baraqiel's or Azrael's going further would be near impossible, but nothing was truly impossible. Of course, Kokabiel had been blacklisted from everything as he still hated that Kurayami was taking over.

Which reminded him that he still had to deal with Kokabiel before the problem got worse. He had quite a few ways to deal with the problem all of which were brutal and inhumane. He did promise him that Kokabiel's wings would decorate his wall after all.

'Or, maybe there is a better way?'

He was snapped out of his dark thoughts when he saw Kuroka smile.

"You are bringing good things to Grigori you know that."

"Thank you. Now about these candidates, to be frank, some of these are of some interest to me simply because of what they have shown. Though Serafall's sister is an exception. Unlike Serafall, she is flat."

"PFF!"

Kuroka covered her mouth and began to have a coughing fit as it came out of her nose. He patted her back gently as she broke out laughing.

"What is so funny?"

She took a deep breath to calm down as she pointed at his face.

"You said that with total seriousness and I could just not help it? So, you like big tits? Let's see, Akeno, Raynare, Esdeath, me, Natsume, Lavinia, Serafall. I see you have a type. All of us have big breasts."

"It's not the only thing that matters, but it certainly is important. Regardless I will meet them tomorrow. Let's hope they are not a total waste of time. Now then, if you will excuse me I have something to do."

Kuroka nodded as she got off him and turned into a cat to sleep on one of the pillows.

"Good luck with that."

He nodded as she closed her eyes and got comfy on the large pillows. As she did that, Kurayami felt it was time for him to begin to delve into the secrets of his soul. Ever since he had unlocked his Soul Scape he had been thinking of how to progress.

In his first life he had devoured an uncountable amount of souls and all of their power was in there somewhere. What could he do with a near-endless sea of Soul Energy?

'Let's see what can be done.'

He sat cross-legged and turned to Shin who met his gaze. They both nodded as they closed their eyes and entered his soulscape together. Once they were here, they both turned to the massive vortex that never ceased to spin.

Kurayami observed the massive vortex which continued its ever-eternal spin. It was essentially a black hole with immense pressure that seemed to press on his mind. He was starting to wonder if the Vortex existed when he was in his human body or if it had only started when he had become a Fallen Angel.

That was the question he had to ask as he could tell what had happened to the person he had murdered. The number of Deaths attributed to his rampages was beyond counting as he had slaughtered entire organizations containing thousands, maybe more.

Just the African Warlods or the Mexican Cartels numbered nearly 200,000. While he had not killed every single member, he most certainly had tried though. When he looked into the Vortex, he could feel the power of every soul in there. A legion of souls consumed and refined within the sea of Death for decades.

And now that he was feeling it out, he could tell why his Balance Breaker was having such an effect on him. Every time he entered a Balance Breaker, his soul which was lost beyond the vortex absorbed more power.

As his soul grew stronger it would push his bloodline to further levels of power. Seeing all the Soul Essence simply spinning without being brought a realization to his mind. He had a use for a very small quantity of the power collected.

"Everyone, if you would."

Besides Tyrant who was not in a condition to offer any aid during an evolution, all of his other Familliars answered the call. Ulrik, his Bicorn, Aurora, Blitz, Zhang, Rebellion, and Submission all were here.

They did not get near the Vortex because it most certainly pressed on them heavily. Kurayami opened his palms pulling Rebellion and Submission to him. Once his two swords were in his hands they could sense he was planning something.

Rebellion had known him the longest so she could tell what that Vortex was.

'So that is where all the people you killed went? You ever thought to count?'

'Of course not. They were not that important.'

Submission had only seen the memories, but it had proved that Rebellion had much more experience.

'Regardless, I can tell you are planning something insane.'

He glanced at the curved greatsword with a frown.

'Are you starting to doubt me?'

'NO! Of course not, just being a voice of reason.'

He shook his head.

'What we will be doing has nothing to do with reason.'

"All of you stay back. Shin, you ready?"

The gigantic dog barked as they both began to draw closer to the Vortex. The closer they went the greater the weight placed on them became, but they made their way deeper. Kurayami squinted his eyes as he could feel the overwhelming power being drawn into his body.

The Vortex was made up of everything that made him up, Death Energy, Holy Lightning, Holy Fire, Shadows, and several derivatives of his main elements. But without question, the greatest concentration was Death Energy as the others made up only a small quantity.

Regardless, it had all been purified for his entire modern life which was what he was now absorbing.

'Rebellion, Submission start to feed.'

'If you say so.'

'Got it.'

He sat down and focused exclusively on absorbing the power with the spinning vortex. Even Shin did the same which quickly enough began to become uncomfortable. The mere concentration of it began to weigh on them all.

Kurayami felt that only a few minutes of this and it would quickly become too much. When 5 minutes passed, Rebellion and Submission began to panic. Cracks began to form on their blades as they had taken all they could.

'Master, we should go.'

'We are going to die if we stay in this.'

Kurayami and Shin both felt the same so they all disengaged and fled out of the vortex. Once they were far away from it, Kurayami sighed in relief as he looked at his damaged Soul Weapons.

"Take time to refine this power and improve yourselves. Shin, this goes for you as well."

With positive answers, Kurayami left his soul to escape where he was returned to his body. Here, his body was overflowing with Soul Essence and that overpowering Death-related Energy. He only took very little as it scared even him.

It didn't damage his body, if anything it was being drawn into his blood. That was a welcome surprise, so he got started to refine all of this energy. He of course started with the Soul Essence which made up the largest concentration.

The process was slow due to the sheer power of what he had drawn, but it was very pure making his job easier. Mixing Mana and Soul Essence was tricky, but it was made trickier when he added that strange energy leaking from his soul.

That caused everything to mix without issue and he began to circulate through his body. Once he began to circulate it through his body, his Mana Pathways when transporting it began to absorb it.

Mana Pathways were the way a person controlled their internal and external mana. Someone like Kurayami had an extensive network of them, but this influx of power caused them to begin to grow stronger, thicker, and more extensive.

His entire network was being reworked from the ground up which took a substantial amount of his refined Mana Soul Essence mixture. But when he was done, his pathways were causing his mana to flow throughout his body without delay.

It was as if he had a second set of nerves, but he still had a little less than half left over. This, he knew what to do with so as he refined more he began to circulate it through his blood and bones.

As he did this, his Bloodline began to devour this energy to weaken or remove barriers he would have had when entering the next rank. Beyond a Seraph, a Semi Super Fallen Angel would still be a legendary existence as he would be a species breaking its imposed limits.

As for Shin, he was doing something similar, but in his case, he was using this refined power to shatter the seals God had placed in each Sacred Gear. Those had been weakened when Incinerate Anthem and Canis Lyacon fused, but he was not satisfied.

With each seal or restriction he removed, glitches were caused within the Heaven System because this was not supposed to happen. Michael was forced to begin to fix the issues as they came, but it was going to get a whole lot worse.

By morning, Kurayami and Shin had used up all the power they had collected, but together they had become much stronger. Any limitations they may have had were either gone or straight out removed.

That just left Rebellion and Submission who needed more time than them. As Kurayami was stabilizing his condition he heard knocking on the door. Kurayami opened his eyes as he had already gotten dressed.

He got up and opened the door to see it was the maid who made tea for him, Serafall, and Sirzechs.

She bowed politely and informed him of breakfast.

"It is breakfast, sir. Should I come back later?"

He shook his head.

"No. Thank you for informing me."

He entered the room to wake up Kuroka. She was the only one who had slept as they had been hard at work. When he woke her up she had wanted to sleep more, but he did not allow it. He waited for her to freshen up a little before they headed to breakfast.

When they got to the dining table, Sirzechs was sitting with his family who arrived early. Serafall was already seated, so she motioned for him to sit next to her.

"Kurayami, sit with me."

"Of course."

He pulled out the chair next to her and took a seat. Shin walked over and bit down on the chair to pull it out as he did not need it. Once it was out of the way he sat down next to his Master leaving the seat next to him for Kuroka.

Once they were all seated Kurayami looked across from him at Venalana and Zeoticus Gremory. Zeoticus was weaker than his wife as she was a pure-blooded Bael.

Both Devils had to say that the stories they had heard of Kurayami did not do him justice. For one he was huge both in height and muscle mass. The worst part of it was that just being in his presence, one would need to be of a certain level of power to just think.

That was the kind of existence that he was and it was worse for Devils considering he was their natural counter. Holy Fire, Holy Lightning, Light Magic, and Death Magic, all pressed their insticts as Devils.

It was even worse for Rias who was seated at the table staring at him in absolute dread. In her eyes, he was not a person, not a Fallen Angel. He was just Death-given form.

"I am Kurayami Himejima, next Governor General. This is my Sacred Gear Shin and my lover Kuroka. Your daughter Rias has her sister and my Sister In Law as her Rook. I want to see her."

Kuroka nodded.

"As Shirone's sister, I want to see her again."

Rias could not even form thoughts, but she already could feel they wanted to take Shirone. Kurayami could apply heavy political pressure to get what he wanted and by political he meant the end of a blade.

Zeoticus reached out for a handshake that Kurayami accepted.

"Well, I am Zeoticus, Rias' father. Sirzechs has already spoken to us on the matter and that is acceptable. She is your Sister In Law and you are entitled to see her. But, the girl still is my daughter's servant. So-"

Kurayami raised an eyebrow as he corrected him.

"I am afraid you are mistaken about that. A servant? I don't like you referring to Shirone like that."

They began to feel a very real danger in the air, but he had not released any aura at all. That was just the weight of his soul and emotions manifesting in reality. A form of suppression based on the power of his soul.

Sirzechs tried to mitigate as he knew that if Kurayami and him went to blows the chances of his victory were not great. He felt he could win, but he would most likely die because simply of racial advantage.

Kurayami was all Devil's natural predator. Serafall could feel a growing pressure and understood his viewpoint If her sister had been in this position she would not want her to be called a servant either. She reached out and placed a hand on his shoulder.

The pressure was reduced as his emotions calmed a little.

"Alright then."

Vanelana took her daughter's hand as she used her aura to keep Kurayami's surprise from her. Seeing that made him question things.

"How old is the girl?"

"She is 12 right now, but before we do anything else can you try to reduce your aura."

Kurayami already decided that she was not good enough at all to hold onto Shirone. She could not allow Kuroka's sister to be left in the hands of this child.

"Sirzechs, out of respect for you I will show you this courtesy. Bring Shirone to me and I will compensate your sister in exchange. I can not, will not allow her to hold into her. I thought the rumors about your sister were an exaggeration, but they are not.

She inherited both the Bael and Gremory Bloodline Abilities perfectly. But she had refused to make use of them. If Shirone remains in her hold she will be held back and never make use of her power. That is not a request."

Kuroka clenched her hands as she was glad.

"Just bring my sister back to me."

Rias had not been able to speak before, but now that her mother was protecting her she got the courage. Hearing that they wanted to take her rook from her she got agitated.

She spoke up as Koneko was not there. She did not want to risk her Rook being taken away from her so she left her behind.

"She did not want to come so I did not force her? She never wants to see her sister again and that is her choice. So-"

That was as far as she got as Kurayami dropped his fork and the air got scary still. It was like the air itself stopped moving as from Kurayami a tidal wave of darkness was released. He slammed his hands on the table as he began to shark in rage.

Serafall, Sirzechs, Venelana, and Zeoticus felt the danger in the air, but the one who had it worse off was Rias. She was paralyzed in terror as any arrogant thought in her mind was purged. Kurayami raised his head to look at her and she saw his eyes had turned into pitch-black voids.

Shin at his side started to snarl as the rage from Kurayami was starting to affect him.

"Sirzechs. Where is Shirone?"

The walls started to crack, the table shook and Rias was glued to her chair as Kurayami's pride had been tested. However, as if all that was a lie he sat back down and calmed his wrath. He had long since Mastered his emotions so he released them just now as an intimidation display.

"Forgive my outburst, but when family is concerned politics mean nothing. Only power."

Sirzechs was not scared in the least as he could do something similar with his aura. He knew that Shirone was a political hot potato as she was Kurayami's Sister In Law. If he fought to keep her, this peace could quickly descend into a full out war.

"Kurayami, you said you would compensate Rias in exchange. What will you give?"

"What do you want? A replacement, cash, resources? You pick."

Sirzechs had an idea that would bring Rias long term benefit.

"In exchange just appoint her a trainer. Rias, from this day you are no longer in charge of Kuoh, Shirone will be returned to her family and you will begin training. This is an order."

Rias saw her brother and was very angry at her. She had never gotten so much as a scolding before so she did not know how to take this. Worst of all, Shirone was being taken from her. Her servant was being taken away.

Sirzechs could not risk going to battle with Kurayami as Azrael would find out and come to back him up. If that ever happened, with both of them together they would lose. Devils would suffer and their peace treaty would be destroyed.

He looked at his head maid who never so much as flinched even during Kurayami's show of force. It was like nothing that happened was any of her business. Sirzechs looked at her and gave her an order.

"Nora, please go and get Shirone. Kurayami, I apoigize for my sister."

He stood up and was about to bow, but Kurayami patted him on the shoulder before he did.

"Do not lower your head Sirzechs. I respect you and wish to consider you a friend. Do not apologize either. You did no wrong."

Zeoticus and Venelana were going to object, but Sirzechs raised his hand. They may be his parents, but right now he was acting as King. Not a brother or a son so this took priority.

"Rias, you nearly caused a break out of the war for breaking an agreement set on by Kurayami and myself. This is inexcusable."

Rias had tears running down her eyes as she knew what she had to do. She gripped her dress tight as she bowed.

"I apologize for my foolishness."

Kurayami glanced at her with squinted eyes.

"Do not apologize, simply improve yourself."

As he, Shin and Kuroka walked back to their room Serafall followed after him. Venelana and Zeoticus sighed as their spoiling of Rias nearly cost her her life. What would have happened if his fiance had not calmed him down? Venelana was going to have a stern lecture to Rias after this and comfort her for loosing Shirone.

Sirzechs ran a hand through his hair as a hot potato like Shirone was better not in his hands. By returning her to Kuroka they would not have to deal with the pressure that came with her. He would have to find Rias a new piece though.
