Chapter 87: Trial

Shadow warrior quickly used his sword and tried to block the beam, but the force pushed him down to his knees. When the beam finally ended, he looked up to see who had attacked him.

Floating in the air was an blue ethereal old man with robes on his body. He had a rough looking beared.

"Who the hell are you?" The shadow warrior asked.

"Me? Well I am just a sliver of the consiousness and power of the sage of arrays, my job is to guide those who are worthy of taking my trial. That boy has proven himself worthy, I came to get him. Who would have thought that I would find you bullying him, this I cannot let go unpunished."

He waved his hands and a multiple layered array formation appeared over the head of shadow warrior, the arrays had sizes in ascending order. The formation shot another beam of light at him.

Shadow warrior swung his sword, black shadows exploded form the sword, colliding with the beam, he cancelled the beam.
