Chapter 3: Chapter 3
I raised my head immediately the door to the restaurant opened and there stood someone I didn't guess to run into here...the guy I met at the gym..."why is he here, does he school here too?" I said to myself.
he stood there for a while and stared at me...finally he moved his feet and came closer to Courtney and i table. she looked back and forth at me and the guy.
She then turned her head to me probably wanting an explanation. " hi, it's me from the gym last Saturday". he said as he brought his hand forward to shake mine. I looked back at the menu with me as if he was not there at all.
she then cleared her throat and said to me "Amy, do you know him?, why don't you ask him to take a seat?" Courtney asked after she noticed I ignored him
I raised my head to look at her and she immediately shut her mouth while smiling awkwardly. "I do not know him" I said as I faced the menu.
"I'll just get going, see you" he said awkwardly as he left our table.
I looked up immediately he left. she faced me giving me a raised eyebrow wanting me to explain. I ignored her and called the waiter to order, she immediately took the hint that I wouldn't answer her no matter what she did and also ordered.

we finished our meals and were already inside her car heading back to the hostel. she just kept stealing glances at me while I ignored her and kept looking out the window.
we reached a stop where the traffic light was on red and we had to stop. Immediately Courtney turned to me and said " why didn't you acknowledge that guy Amy, I'm sure you guys know each other"...I sighed and turned to look at her when the light turned green.
" yes, I know him okay?, I just don't like him and I also don't like to meet people" I said.
"Okay, but I just know there's something going on, judging from the way he looked at you girl" she said raising her voice in tiny but loud pitch while shaking her body happily.
I shaked my head and smiled while looking at the buildings.

We got to her hostel almost in the evening because she said we should stop by some places to taste their ice creams and all that they have. She really know how to interact with people _..I wish I could be like that_ I said to myself
We came down from the car and that's when I remembered I have an early class tomorrow morning.
"Courtney, can I stay with you for the night?, I didn't remember we have an early class tomorrow and I'm so tired now to go home and start preparing for tomorrow"...I said to her while looking at her eagerly waiting for her response. She took a while to answer but finally she said " that will be so great, I will introduce you to my roommates, show you around my hostel, and we could stay up talking about so many things...it'll be like a mini sleepover" she said while jumping up and talking loudly
While walking back to her room, she talked about how her roommate were, how they loved partying and wore all sorts of clothes and all that.
We reached the door to her room and she tried to open it but it was locked. She brought out her key to open the door and we entered inside.
She threw her bag on the bed and jumped on it. I stood at the entrance and looked round the room.
Her room wasn't too big but was spacious enough for four people to stay. There were different kinds of posters on the wall, some being for artist's concerts and some being for parties that they probably hosted themselves.
They had a shelf to the side where they kept books and all other things and each bed had little drawer beside it for the owners... _hmm not bad_ I said to myself.
She called my name and told me to come sit on her bed and we started to talk about so many things till we lost track of time.
I yawned and that's when she decided to check the time " shit, it's already 11:30pm and we didn't take our shower or eat" she said loudly as always
"Well, we can just go take our baths now and then come to sleep so we can be early for tomorrow'e class" I said while I stood up from the bed.
"Yeah, we should do that" she replied.
" And oh your roommates aren't back?" I asked her after looking around and noticing the empty beds
" Yeah, they stay out most time, partying I guess" she replied
" Oh, so you sleep alone sometimes?" I asked her
"Yeah, I'm use to it" she replied
"Oh okay" I said and proceeded to take her extra towel and flops to wear to the bathroom.
I came out of the bathroom feeling refreshed, and I looked at Courtney's bed and I see that she's asleep. I smiled lightly an went to ask her up gently so she could take her bath. she stood up drowsily and took her towel and wore her flops then entered the bathroom.
I grabbed my bag and opened it to bring out My skincare products and brought out my sleep wear. I wore it was tying my hair up so I could apply the products evenly on my face when I heard a sound from outside, it sounded like someone wanted to enter.
Courtney also came out and quickly put in her swim wear. " it's probably my roommates or just a random person passing the passage and kicking doors" she said trying to calm me.
we opened the door and three girls rushed inside and landed on the floor as they were all staggering. I looked at Courtney with confusion writing boldly on my face.
"They're my roommates " she said while smiling awkwardly.
I closed the door and locked it from behind then walked back to Courtney's bed and I sat down. "They're probably so drunk and wasted seeing the way they're all on the floor" she said to me..."yes I guess so too" I replied her.
"I'll just wake them up and let them sleep on their beds then we can all talk in the morning" she said while standing up and heading to where they were.
