Chapter 2: Kill & Encounter
Two hours later, Rei walked inside a bar in a deserted alley.
"Sorry for disturbing."
A bulky bald man behind the counter and a single customer wearing a gray suit looked at Rei as he entered.
"I am looking for Red Wine," Rei said, unhurriedly and calmly sitting on a chair closest to the bartender.
"Which one?" asked the bald man as he took out an empty glass and put it on the table.
Rei grinned.
"The one with long red hair and big boobs."
*klak...*
Rei was taken aback as he saw the Bartender pointing a handgun at him, and then…he smiled.
"Don't you know that playing with guns is dangerous?" Rei said, showing utter nonchalance.
"Brat, state your purpose and identity. Otherwise, this Lightning Eagle will shoot a condensed electro bead pulse in your brain and instantly kill you."
The Bartender was not willing to take any crap!
"That's a good gun, baldy. Why don't you shoot it?..." Rei spoke with a smile before pausing and leaning back on the chair with a crossed leg in the figure four position.
The chair's first two legs rose from the ground due to Rei leaning back as he continued with a brilliant smile, "Let's see if I get instantly killed or not, haha."
'No fear at all?' Bartender thought, his narrowed eyes flickered with a bit of doubt and uncertainty.
The suit-boots man with a gray beard stood up and slightly leaned towards the bar table before speaking, "Hey, do you hear some sound?"
"What do you mean, Crocell?" The Bartender asked in confusion.

"This sound is familiar, and it's getting louder," Crocell said with a thoughtful expression.

Rei said with a smile as he pointed his hand at the gun and added, "I just got excited with this gun pointing at me. I want to know whether I will die or not."

The bartender was speechless.

'Damn!' Crocell thoughts he saw Bartender getting killed with his own gun.

"You don't know?" Rei asked with narrowed eyes. 'This guy… from his looks, he seems to be in his early forties, but….'
Rei couldn't correctly read his expression. The man showed fear, but it felt…strange. He couldn't comprehend the man's expression!
"I don't know," Crocell immediately replied while shaking his head. "I was here for a business with this baldy for a few days, and I haven't met any woman with red hair and big boobs. I swear."
Rei's eyes very faintly shone as he used his power to check Crocell's ability.

A mysterious voice replied to Crocell in his head.

Rei rolled his eyes, "You already sat down."

Rei glanced at Crocell briefly before turning his head towards the door.
"Do whatever you want. You can leave or stay. Your choice."
Hearing Rei's words, Crocel was surprised. 'Did he sense something?'
But he was okay with it. He sat down previously because he thought Rei would tell him to stay.
'Nah, but this kid's institution is good,' the mysterious voice said. 'Your fake expressions didn't work against him. He saw through that and made the decision. A wise decision.'
"Then goodbye, young man," Crocell stood up with a smile and walked towards the door before stopping.
He looked back at Rei as if he was thinking something and grinned, "If we meet again, I'll give you a present or present, depending on you."
Rei looked at Crocell confusedly for a second before adapting and nodding with a smile, "Sure."
Crocell laughed and turned around before leaving the pub, soon disappearing into the darkness of the alleys.
"Strange old man," Rei muttered before leaning back again and waiting for his target to arrive.
Rei knew not to mess with someone who felt like an abyss to him, and Crocell gave him the same vibe.
He felt an unknown depth from Crocell.

After ten minutes, someone opened the bar's door and calmly entered.
*whistle*
Rei whistled lightly with a smile.
"You are even more beautiful in person, Red Wine."
Red Wine glanced at baldy's dead body before turning to Rei with narrowed eyes, "Who are you, and what do you want from me?"
'Baldy had B-grade physical enchantment serum, and his combat power was A-rank, but he still lost. Moreover, the gun is in this brat's hand now.'

"You didn't have to kill my subordinate for this," Red Wine indifferently said as she glanced at Bartender's body.

Red Wine was speechless and angry.
"Alright, goodbye," Rei said with a smile, instantly pulling the trigger.

Red Wine's lifeless body fell on her back with a thud. Her current expression was a bit warped, but it was mostly indifferent. She didn't expect to die like this!
Rei clicked her dead body's picture and left the bar before disappearing into the dark alley.
