As the town was ailing with economic and military stagnation, with its commerce as lively as a decaying corpse as roads remained unguarded for bandits and thieves to exploit, the saboteurs and spies of Ulricht's Band, under the employ of Franco Moores, continued to leech through the town's decline. However, as their business went by as usual throughout this night they thought to be mundane, the new defenders of the town slithered in the darkness, attempting to liberate the sickly town.
