Cindy went home with her family but her heart was not at peace. She knew trouble was coming the moment they got home. 

Immediately, they stepped down from the car, everyone departed from her to their various directions before she could even think of redeeming herself. 

She rushed to her son who was making his way to the stairs without taking a glance at her, not even once. 

He had been avoiding her since the incident happened. He couldn't believe his mother was such a slut! What else would she be doing if she could stand low and do such a thing?

"Nick!" She called behind him and he stopped his steps.

Cindy was glad he still obeyed her voice. She held on to that hope and approached him. 

"I'm happy you still hear my voice," she said, but nothing came out from Nick. 

He was staring in the opposite direction without turning back to look at his mother. 

"Can you please turn around?" Cindy begged in a gentle voice.
