Chapter 9: The cunt of a God, Himeros!... Intro (Part 9) - PORN SEX
"Hello, I am Himeros."
"The God of Love," said an effeminate man high up in mystic crystal throne, which is floating in the middle of the room. There is a huge circle in the middle of the room that is showing clouds far away under it.
'Wait! Clouds under you?! So after death, people come to heaven high up in the sky,' Charlie freaked out in his mind.
"You are not far from the truth, mortal. After death on the mortal realm, the soul of a 'sentient being' reaches the heavenly abode of the supreme god of his religion or be thrust into the hell, according to the karmic levels of one's sins and virtues."
"The virtuous consciousness enter heaven's abode while the heinous consciousness is banished to hell."
"Consciousness? Not the soul?" muttered Charlie…

"Know your station, you lowly mortal! How dare you to talk to the lord in such a casual manner…" interjected the divine warrior who stood behind Himeros, when Charlie spoke.
"Now, now… the mortal does not know the ways of us. A dead soul, unless it a pious believer will never have an audience with me. We should cut the lucky mortal some slack. After all, it is said the death is a very disorienting experience…"
"Especially if you consider the circumstances in which he died…." Said Himeros with a smirk.
In soul form, Charlie did not appear much different than his physical form, but he has a faint glow surrounding him. When he first arrived at the hall where Himeros' throne was floating, his soul was at peace, Charlie only had a vague memory of his past like, he only remembered that he was a human and had the common sense of a modern-day human. He was lack of any desire to think about his past life. However, when Himeros reminded him of the day he died, it was as if a lock was undone. Memories of his life as Charlie started to fill into his mind.
The memories were clear, from when he was born, to all the people present, even the subtleties of every moment of his life start to fill in. The memories felt like he was watching a detailed movie about his life, he could feel all the emotions that he felt all his life. Very soon his spiritual biography reel came to the D-day he died, seeing in retrospect, as a detached entity Charlie was able to notice a lot of discrepancies on how the events played out.
First, the unease he felt in his wife and her subtly searching for someone or something, when he was greeting the upper echelons of his company.
Second is the drastic change in her behavior, to cheat on him, and to make him watch as she did, Charlie could not understand the reason for her to act so vile and shatter his dignity. The important clue was when Ryan told him that Elizabeth came to him, which means she went to him and their affair started the very day he died. It felt like Elizabeth cheated on him just to crush his spirit. It was very unlike the wife he knew for 5 years, it felt as if she was a different person.
'Wait, is she a … a different person?' Charlie was baffled by the possibility.
Lastly, the most important clue, the thing Irene said.
'Die.' 'That is the best for everyone…' (ch.7)
'Why did she have to say that? More importantly, why did Irene have to push me down?'
'Things were already bizarre with how Elizabeth acted and Irene, with whom I have no beef or prior relationship, and she pushed me to death. There is something at large in play here… and now I'm suddenly in the presence of a God,' Charlie warily sized up Himeros. The more Charlie thought about his death the colder he felt at his spine.
"Hehehe, not bad mortal, not bad at all," laughed out Himeros.
"I did not expect you to pick up on the subtle mysteries surrounding your death. Hehehehe, I pegged you for an idiot, but an idiot is not much use to me. Heh, I should have expected as much, since Eija had her sight set on you."
"Can�� can you tell me what is happening…my lord…"
"Hmm, explain everything to you? I could, but then what? What are you going to do about it? What can you do about it? Heh, if you are wise as I think you are, you should know that whether you knew or not, your death is a foregone conclusion, you could do nothing to change anything. Nothing at all, now that you are already dead."
Though what Himeros said was harsh, Charlie was stunned into silence because he knew that it was the truth…
'The strong play the game while the weak becomes the sacrifice…'
"Your thoughts are not wrong… Only the strong can make the moves… hehe… how about I allow you to become strong…"
"No matter how much you try you cannot become strong enough to change anything. However, if you act wisely, you can become strong enough to know a thing or two about the world of Gods," said Himeros with a weird echo to his voice, the more he talked the more dazed Charlie had become. The cunning in Himeros' eyes made him appear more like a devil who is working his charm rather than a god.
"Don't worry, it is not much that I ask in return and without me, you have no opportunity to get strong. What say you? Will you agree?"
CLAP!
As soon as Himeros finished talking, the light clap of his hands did not evoke any bizarre physical reaction, but for Charlie, it as if an explosion went off in his mind. The struggling resistance and cautiousness were shattered into non-existent.
"Ye…yes…" Charlie uttered subconsciously…
"Heh, I, Himeros, the God of Love ordain you as my spiritual messiah," a red imprint of a complicated pattern started to form on the back of his right hand.
"I, Himeros, your principal God, relegate you the responsibility of spreading the divine grace of Love into the far reaches of humanity."
"I, Himeros, command you to the eternal mission of making the Church of Love, the principal religion of the Mother Dimension."
"I will allow you to voice your rejection if any."
"If not, in witness of the divine crest of the Immortal rune, Love; you, Charles Gregory Shawn shall forever be bound to the fascination of Love and become my devout believer."
"What say you? Do you agree?"
"...I …I agree…"
