Chapter 75: Letting Go
Why was he here?
The man in front of her smiled and ruffled Elena's hair gently, "Why are you at the airport? Are you here to send me off?"
Elena frowned and shook her head, "What are you doing here, Zhang Bing?"
Zhang Bing grabbed a straw from the nearby container and said, "I have some work to do in Japan and I'm leaving today."
Suddenly, Zhang Bing pouted and pretended to wipe away fake tears.
"I'm so sad, I won't be able to see you again for a long time. My company has planned a lot of work for me to do."
Elena's mouth fell open in shock and wondered how such a coincidence could be possible.
She laughed and tilted her head to one side, "Well, you don't have to be sad. I'm also going to Japan."
Zhang Bing raised one eyebrow and looked at Elena to see if she was joking.
"I was supposed to leave later but I want to leave now."
Zhang Bing placed one arm around Elena's shoulder and looked down at her, "Wow, we really are destined to be together."
Elena scoffed and dramatically rolled her eyes. It was a good thing that Zhang Bing was also going. At least she would have a friend and someone to rely on in Japan so she wouldn't be so lonely.
"Number 39!"
Elena looked at her receipt and quickly walked over to the cashier, stepping out of Zhang Bing's arms.
Zhang Bing looked down at his empty arm and frowned.
"Thank you," Elena said as she grabbed a straw and picked up her Americano.
"What flight are you taking?"
"I'm taking the ANA airlines, what about you?" Elena asked as she pushed her straw into the cup.
"Me too!" Zhang Bing pulled out his ticket and said, "I'm on seat A1."
Elena's eyes fell open and she almost spit her Americano out.
"No way. I'm on seat A3 and Mila is on A2." Elena began walking back to the boarding gate with Zhang Bing by her side. Was this fate?
They arrived back in front of the boarding gate and Elena went over to find Mila.
Zhang Bing came to sit next to them after notifying his assistant, and they began waiting for their flight together.
Zhang Bing's assistant had brought a lot of snacks to eat during the flight, and he was kind enough to share them with Elena and Mila.

Lu Chenjun pressed the doorbell one more time and waited for a response. He frustratingly turned towards Fang Shi, and Fang Shi immediately received the signal.
In five minutes, a middle-aged man arrived in front of the door and he pulled out a key. After the door was unlocked, he left right away.
Lu Chenjun walked into the room with a frown, and his expression worsened when he saw that the room was empty.
"Where is she?"
Fang Shi rubbed his head, "Did they move? Why is everything gone?"
Lu Chenjun continued to blame himself for not acting more defensive when he went to the bar. If he had been more alert, all of this wouldn't have happened.
Lu Chenjun clenched his fist together and vowed to not let Chu Hua live an easy life from now on.
He placed the flowers onto the table and dialed Elena's number. No one picked up, but he received a message.
Lu Chenjun's face darkened as he looked at the image and read the message from Chu Hua.
The image was of Elena and Zhang Bing standing next to each other in front of a coffee shop. Zhang Bing's arm was wrapped around Elena's shoulder, and they were looking at each other lovingly.
The message only made him even more angry.
'Chenjun, wake up! Jin Yinghui doesn't like you, so stop wasting your time. She's happy without you.'
The last sentence hit Lu Chenjun hard. He knit his eyebrows together tightly as he thought about what Chu Hua said.
Was Yinghui actually more happy without him? Lu Chenjun wanted her to be happy, but he also wanted to be with her. He wanted to make her happy.
He looked once more at the picture and he noticed the groups of people walking behind Elena with suitcases in their hands. Among them, there was a female flight attendant dressed in her red and blue uniform.
Why was Jin Yinghui at the airport?
Chenjun turned around and walked out of the room taking massive steps.
Back in his car, Lu Chenjun commanded Fang Shi, "Drive to the Jin Province International Airport. Fast."
Fang Shi started the car and Lu Chenjun continued coldly, "Have the people watching Chu Hua go into the room to check on her. Until I say so, no one is allowed to bring her any food or water."
Fang Shi nodded and internally grieved for Chu Hua. Well, she did deserve it. . .
--- 20 minutes later
Elena held onto her ticket tightly as she slowly moved forward in the line to board the plane with Zhang Bing by her side.
The line was relatively short as they were both in Business Class. Before long, they were giving the tickets to the flight attendants standing in front of the gate.
Elena thanked the female attendant and stepped into the gate. She turned back to wait for Zhang Bing and Mila, and they walked onto the plane together.
Lu Chenjun's face was emotionless as he watched Elena walk into the plane with Zhang Bing.
Fang Shi stared at his boss in disbelief. Why wasn't Mr. Lu stopping Jin Yinghui from leaving?
They stood there for a long time, and Fang Shi didn't dare speak or ask Mr. Lu what he was doing. Lu Chenjun only turned around to leave after the plane had disappeared into the sky.
Lu Chenjun slowly walked out of the airport, attracting glances from many desperate women.
However, the cold expression on his face prevented them from getting near.
Fang Shi looked down at his feet as he followed Lu Chenjun out of the airport. Where was Jin Yinghui going and why was Zhang Bing with her?
Lu Chenjun entered his car and closed his eyes.
There is a type of love called letting go. . .
