Chapter 43: Side Story 2: He Would Never Know (21)

Lucas brought the sleeping and exhausted omega home after their "intense workout". Now, he's sitting on the bed next to Daryl, staring at his face while smiling from ear to ear.

"He looks so beautiful even when he's sleeping," he mumbled to himself as his heart fluttered.

Although he also felt tired because they did so many rounds, he didn't want to sleep, afraid that everything that happened is just a dream.

He felt so much joy within the day that he wondered if he was dreaming or not. He held Daryl's hand gently, and when he felt that everything feels so real, he was convinced that he wasn't dreaming at all.

'I never even thought that this day would come...' Lucas thought as his grip on Daryl's hand tightened a bit. 'You made me the happiest man in the world, Dar. Thank you,' he thought as he looked at him with eyes full of love and adoration.

"I love you so much," Lucas whispered and kissed Daryl's hand.
