Chapter 145: Let's Have a Proper Talk

Tang Shi Yi spoke a few words to her mother without mentioning the children directly before she finally ended the phone call.

As she put her phone down, Tang Shi Yi could see that Ye Heng was still keeping his eyes on her.

She swallowed, wondering how this conversation with Ye Heng going to continue.

"How is your mother?" Ye Heng asked, breaking the silence between them. He heard a bit from Tang Shi Yi's conversation. "She's not angry is she?"

"She's not." She lowered her head briefly. Then, Tang Shi Yi looked up with an apologetic look on her face. "I'm sorry. I didn't make trouble for you, did I?"

Ye Heng flashed a smile that did not reach his eyes. "What do you think?"

Tang Shi Yi shivered as she net Ye Heng's gaze. She could not help thinking that there was something scary in the man's eyes. "I don't know..." Her voice turned to a whisper.

"Tang Shi Yi, you vomited in my living room."
