Chapter 190: Crisis

Clara opened the door of her new house.

"Beautiful place," Evelyn murmured under her breath as they entered. 

"Thank you."

"So how is your project coming up?" Evelyn asked with a smile on her face. Her hands were holding bags as they had just brought back things from shopping. 

The duo met and brought some fresh ingredients to make some delicious food. Even though Evelyn did not want to admit eating it, Alexander's daily handmade food had given her an upset stomach. 

Even though the chefs made food for her, Evelyn also ate what Alexander made as her fiance made a point to make at least a dish a day. Evelyn thought it was very cute of him, but her stomach did not.

Evelyn wanted a day off from it, maybe have a good drink with Clara with some delightful food. Initially, they wanted to call others as well, but because it was a request from Mia they did not.
