Chapter 2: Here we go...
Monday morning.
The first day of school after the long end term break.
Noah's POV
It's 7 am, my alarm rings on it's highest note as if it's set to wake up the whole country. Why does it have to be so loud, urgh?
I am struggling with my strong desire to go back to sleep but it's MONDAY MORNING. Oh god, I can't express how much I hate Monday mornings. And on top of that, it is not your usual Monday morning, it is also the first day of this term at school.

Excited you ask? No, I am not. I am the least excited person on earth to exist. Yeah, I am good with my studies and get my grades right and everything but admit it, school is a disaster even if it is the best school in the country. I just can't survive with all the crowd and their over-enthusiasm to see each other. I mean it's not the end of the world you know. And with their "Long time no see, how's life treating you?", I really want to say it was treating me great before I saw you but come on, one can't do that, right? Such a struggle life is.
It's 7:05 am and I am literally on the verge of breaking this alarm clock into pieces for spoiling my best sleep but anyway, I get up to freshen up. Time to get ready to face the world or .... whatever.

I get out of the washroom after a warm relaxing shower and move straight to the kitchen, ..... the eggs and bacon will not get ready by themselves, you know.
Yeah, I live alone. Why? Don't ask. Life's pretty good when you live alone, for the best part, you don't have to deal with humans, no, at least not your home where you want to feel relaxed at the end of a long day. The only struggle is getting your meals ready and cleaning up after yourself and after a while, you get used to it.
8 am, and it's time. My phone rings and without a doubt, I know who that is. I pick up the call.
"Hey", Noah answers.
"Hi, darling. All set to go?" the caller responds.
"Yeah, I am all done eating the breakfast. Where are you?"
"Too desperate to see me? I am outside your apartment. Open the door"
I hang up the call and open the door.
"Hi, Noah" the person on the door rushes to hug me.
"Hey Georgie, oh, oh ... oh…stop" I struggle to break free from his bear hug.
"Noah, you hurt my feelings. I was so excited to see you after so on the first day of school and you did not even return my hug" George whines like a kid.
"Oh, grow up Georgie! I know you and your dramatic ass. It was just last week that I met you. It's been only three days since then."
"So what? It's been freaking three days. Do you know how long that is? It's a total of 72 hours." George pouts.
Noah sighs at his best friends' antics and gives him a hug.
"See now, that's like a good morning.", George says excitedly.
We both pick up our bags and head towards school in Georgie's car.
Ava's POV
So, Monday morning it is, huh? Well, I do not have a problem waking up in the morning or anything as I always get up and train myself in the early hours along with Allen, who, by the way, is late today, typical Allen.
So, I freshen up and get into my joggers, although I have to wait a bit for Allen, I can still take a round around the park. I start with normal stretches and there he is. Allen running towards me.
"Sorry, I am late. I had some things to finish last night so I could not sleep on time." Allen says in one single breath.
"It's alright. You know the rules, Allen. You are five minutes late, so you got to take five extra rounds of the park" I giggle.
"Yeah, I know I know. You would never spare me for the love of God, would you?" Allen complains.
"Of course not. The rule is the rule, no one is ever allowed to break the rule." I smirk.
"Ah, you and your typical rules."

We exercise for about an hour and head back to our house. Yeah, Allen lives with me in our base house. All the other gang members are allowed to stay there whenever they want. We usually use it to make plans or discussions and, also party hard.
"So, Ava are you excited about the school today?"
"What's so exciting about school Allen? It is all filled with boring lectures and annoying people." I say with a bored expression.
"Yep, that's there. But I am really excited to see what others have been up to." Allen says with a smile.
"Let's get going. Have to catch up with the other three."
We head back home and eat up our breakfast prepared by the staff of the base house and head to the school. Allen would be driving today.
We reach the school gate and go to the parking lot. There they are- my precious people.
Third-person POV
Olivia, Cole, and Gray have been waiting for Ava and Allen to arrive. Cole and Gray have been arguing over something and, Olivia has been trying to resolve the matter, almost on the verge of pulling both apart by their hair. They always drive her crazy.
"Woah, woah, woah, What a lovely morning?" Ava remarks.
..
"What's up Olivia? What the hell are they fighting about now?" Allen asks.
.
"What else? These two are at it again. Seriously, they fight and argue over such stupid matters and drive me insane. I swear Ava, their death will be in my hand one day."
..
"HAHAHA Calm down Oli. You two what's wrong now? No greetings nothing, you guys really forget about people around you when you two are together." Ava intervenes between the two.
..
"This is all Gray's fault. You know what I asked him to get the car filled yesterday but he forgot and when we were coming to school, the fuel got emptied in the middle of the road and we literally had to beg people around to give us some fuel" Cole whines as he complains.
..
"Oh come on Cole, if you knew the tank is empty you should have got it filled yourself and even if I forgot, it is not like we are standing in the middle of the road right now, are we? We reached on time alright and now stop acting like a whiny kid" Gray elbows Cole as he speaks.

"I AM NOT A KID. I told you to stop calling me that" Cole rushes to hit Gray. Gray hides behind Olivia who tries to get away from these two, totally annoyed.

"Oh right! I forgot about that. Sorry for calling you a Kid, .... KID" Gray dodges as Cole again tries to hit him.
All laugh at the two of them.
.
"Okay, stop it you two. Enough! Let's get going to our classes."
.
As soon as they start walking, another car arrives in the parking lot.
