Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Love Rains On Them
At Coffee & Chill.
After spending their lunch together, Soo Min and Ryan stopped by the cafe to grab some coffee. Although Soo Min thought of this as a casual outing, for Ryan this was another opportunity to spend more time with her. He was already ecstatic that she brought him lunch.
"Do you want something to eat as well?" Ryan asked while they waited in line.
"Pain Au Chocolat?" Soo Min said softly.
"You sure you're a doctor?" Ryan chuckled. "You're junk food habits are worse than my little nephew's."
Soo Min frowned and turned her head away in defiance. "What's wrong with a little chocolate?" She mumbled with a pout.
"How cute." He muses.
"Hello sir, what can I get for you?"
"I'll get 2 Pain Au Chocolat, a caramel frappuccino and an iced americano." Ryan informed.
Soo Min looks up at him, puzzled. "Two? I didn't know you like sweet things."
"I don't. They're for you." He said.
"Two of them? What? Want me to gain weight or something?" Soo Min scoffed.
"I don't mind it. But if your worried, I know something better than working out to help you burn all those calories." He responded, making Soo Min turn pink and the employee to laugh.
"Can you think before you speak for once? We're at a public place!" Soo Min half whispers half shouts.
"What? I was talking about increasing your water intake... what did you think I was--Oh." Ryan pauses before leaning closer and whispering seductively into her ears. "We could definitely do that too, seems like a more effective way anyway. But don't worry sweetheart I won't touch you until you're ready."
"Ryan!" Soo Min's face turns a furious shade of red, but it only causes the devilish man to chuckle more.
Not to far from them, a man dressed in all black snaps a picture of Soo Min before tilting his baseball cap down to hide his face.

Two hours later.
Ryan stepped out of the cafe, looking up at the ominous gray clouds hinting on the incoming storm. Soo Min followed suite, talking to him about his weird distaste of everything sweet and how his life is practically incomplete with desserts.
"I'm now making it my mission to find you a dessert that you possibly can't life without. I-Hey are you even listening?" Soo Min's words were cut short when a strong arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her close. A black umbrella hovered over her head, shielding her from the pouring rain. It created some sort of a barrier that blocked out the rest of the world, reducing everything els to nothing but white noise.
His large presence towered over hers, with his hard chest pressed firmly against her soft mounds, eliciting a gasp from her pink lips.
"I don't want you to get wet." Ryan nonchalantly said. His features portraying the kind tenderness and warmth that made Soo Min's stomach tingle.
With almost no space left between them, Ryan tilts the umbrella towards Soo Min to make good of his words.
Thunder claps in the sky and lightning streaks peak through the clouds.
Just when the rumbling of the clouds occur again, Soo Min grabs Ryan by the waist, fisting the material of his navy blue suit and pulls him even closer, so that he could be under the umbrella too.
Ryan looks at her with this stunned look in his eyes. His eyes part hopeful, part curious.
"I…just don't want you to fall sick because of me." Soo Min whispers, avoiding eye contact.
A soft smile blossoms on his lips. With their faces merely inches apart, uneven hot breaths fanning each other's faces, tension rises in the air.
Soo Min must've seen the way Ryan's eyes darkened as desire brewed inside them like a storm because at the next moment, her lips part.
Acknowledging her invitation, Ryan lowers his head and captures her lips with his. Soo Min goes slack against him, her mouth slightly open, probably still due to the shock of everything that was happening. Ryan used this as an opportunity to thrust his tongue into her mouth.
He feasts on her as if he's been starved for years. His first taste. One of happiness.
A kiss.
His lips press onto hers, his tongue confiscating hers, licking, sucking and biting.
His hold on the umbrella weakens before it slightly tilts, falling onto the ground. The cool rain did nothing to stop the heat radiating from the two. Skin burning like fire.
He used his free hand to wrap his slender fingers around her brunette strands.
Soo Min whimpers, her hands going limp on his shoulders, and that might as well be an invitation to eat her alive.
He kisses her like he has never kissed before.
His lips feasting on hers with the energy of an unsatiated beast until she's gasping, until her body molds against his. Until he can no longer decipher where she starts and he ends.
It was as if he had finally found the missing piece of his life and now that he had secured it, there was no losing it again.
The rain beats down on them like a witness of this moment.
The moment Soo Min realizes she won't be able to escape Ryan.
Not even if she wants to.
