Chapter 82: Chapter 82: What Happened to Qing Mei?

After chatting with her mother for barely half an hour, Su Ning was already exhausted. She could hardly keep her eyes open during Dr Yang's check-up. Immediately after the doctor left the room, Su Ning fell into a deep slumber with Gu YuChen holding her hands. Despite Dr Yang's numerous positive reassurances regarding Su Ning's condition, Gu YuChen still insisted to remain beside the girl as she slept. A part of him worried that the girl would once again fall into a coma and the happiness he just experienced was merely temporary. 

"Is this the Young Master Gu I know?" Dr Yang inquired interestedly. He had known Gu YuChen since he was an infant, being Meng Jia's attending physician. 

"If not?" Gu YuChen retorted. He didn't bat an eye at the mention of his mother's name.

"This is the first I've seen you be this affectionate to another human being. I don't recall you being this gentle even with Grandma Gu," the middle aged pepper haired Dr Yang commented.
