Chapter 56: There Is A Snow Storm Outside

Arielle couldn't sleep. She spent the next hours just thinking about her feelings. Ronan didn't show any signs of waking up any time soon.

The man's sleep couldn't be disturbed by anything at all. Even when Arielle's hand felt tired, and she pulled her hand from under the man's head, Ronan didn't wake up at all. 

However, despite all of that,  she still could not escape the king's embrace.

Arielle wanted to go back to her room. They had been lying down since afternoon and she wasn't sure what time it was now. As she looked down at the king's calm expression as he slept, Arielle couldn't bear to wake the man up to ask Ronan to let go of his embrace.

His work outside the palace must have been exhausting. The role of a king was not an easy job. Moreover, everything was done by himself. If she could, Arielle would also like to help Ronan and help lighten the man's work.
