Chapter 133: Rion's Grief

"She just drank poison."

Odette was surprised to hear Rion's exclamation as well as Doctor Alex.

"What do you mean? I'm fine."

"Doctor Alex, check her and make sure she's poisoned or not." Rion focused on Doctor Alex and ignored Odette's protest.

Aathreya and Narine entered the room before Doctor Alex said anything in response to Rion's words.

"Alice, are you all right?" Aathreya asked as he approached and grabbed Odette's shoulder anxiously. He looked deeply worried, making Odette a little surprised and confused by the man's attitude. The three people in the room felt the same way.

"Y-yes," replied Odette awkwardly.

After hearing that, Aathreya let go of Odette's shoulder and stood up straight.

"Give it to me," he said to Rion, asking for the glass that Rion was holding. Rion gave it to him with a determined look in his eyes.

Aathreya then dipped his index finger into the remaining liquid that was in the glass.
