"Hello.."
Sobrina, who was tongue tied, managed to squeeze a few words out. At the same time the man's eyes penatrated onto her exquisitely smooth skin, again , the man looked the maiden into her rose-golden eyes followed along with an unpleasant, extremely terrifying smile.
" Who might you be? " He asked, though it seemed more as though he was commanding the girl to answer.
She flinched at the sight but still could not help herself but to stare at the figure standing before her. Her face was still as red as before. She curtsied and responded ,
" Lady Sobrina of House Forest, thou make your acquaintance! "
Once she had lifted her head to meet the face of the man, he had already prepared himself to respond to the maiden. His hands were behind his back as he stood in a well positioned posture , if this were not ergonomics I have no idea what is.
" What have you business on my land, Lady Forest? "
His remark was unexpected, but who would've thought, little old Sobrina was all ready to answer.
" Sorry for the disturbance my lord, I got lost in thy forest since I am not welcomed in my home. "
Once again, her remarks made the man confused , but he bothered with her no more , turned away from the woman then spoke ,
" I have hope you shall find your way back. " He said, though no emotions were present.
Before he had gotten the chance to walk off, Sobrina grabbed his hand which then made him turn around once more and look at her , again , with a confused expression.
" My lord, you have not the thought to help? " She said, looking disappointed. " Why not I be your guest? I have no home either way.. "
This was the last straw as the man was now full on puzzled, he continued looking into the maidens eyes and wondered how such a woman existed.
" I have no time for your game Lady Forest, I shall take my lea- "
Before he could continue speaking, her finger was now on his lips , shushing him as to not make him speak.
" My lord, that is not a way in which you treat your guests is it? Why so persistent, let us go! " Sobrina pouted, trying to show the gentleman that she was in fact being serious. Did he really think that she was going to let him get away? Such eye candy is needed in her life! She will definitely keep him to herself.
The man did not have an expression on his face as his eyes showed it all, he was annoyed yet he was still mesmerized by the fact that this girl had stuck around for so long , his bloody red eyes were enough to scare a king if it came to that. Why should he not give it a try? After being in his home, locked up for a decade, why can't he enjoy a life of fun? By fun in this sense, it would be trying to scare the living senses out of her.
The two adults definitely set a mood in this once terrifyingly beautiful forest. One has a plan to marry the other and the other has a plan to cause the other mental trauma. If they were spot by onlookers , they would most definitely be seen as lovers. Though what could the lord do now? He had to give this young lady a place to stay , else , he'd be seen as an even worst beast than he already is.
" What shall I get in return for this guest visit? I have not known you for more than half an hour, you would most definitely have to pay me. " He said, doubting the girl would want to continue on with this in mind. A man with red eyes = You going to his home = him asking for payment sounds rather risky to me.
Sobrina choked, her mindset was rather , questionable , if I must say so myself. ' Does this man think he can scare me off with just this in mind? ' She grinned and responded to the man who was staring at her so questionably.
"Oh my, well, what do you say about marriage, my lord, would that not work? " She continued grinning whilst trying to hold in her laughter , she knew this man was not the type to flirt around , but , that was surely not going to stop her.
The man almost stopped breathing, he froze for a second , again with no emotions and started having a staring competition with the girl. He briefly laughed at the remark and let's say his response was something.
" Lady Forest, you shall try your best, I do hope your wish may fulfill itself one day , but for now let's just say you'll have to do much better than that. " He was obviously teasing her, his laughter was just about there when Sobrina covered his mouth with her hand once again.
" My lord , I wil most definetely succeed , In fact , I think I have already! " Her confidence shocked both of them but either way, he definitely had something coming.
