Chapter 72: Leaving home

We got our things packed over night. Dante informed us of the two additional people that would be going with us. Madonna and Kiki. We're not counting Milo. God, that poor kid speaks out to me. His mother, killed before his eyes. 

I weighed him in my arms. He'd somehow gotten attached to me, in the minutes of him waking up. 

Dante carried the bags, leading us down a path I doubt even Kiki has been too. He said he has vehicle he's been harboring. He only brings it out when he's making long trips to get items for the pack. 

Speaking of, the members of the pack are not too delighted about being left alone. I can hear some of their footsteps, following us from a distance. They need to learn to be on their own. This was all fun while it lasted.

They have boats. Cars. I'm assuming soem have fuels. They don't need to glue themselves to Dante.
