Chapter 4: Chapter 3: A Prophetic Baby

What felt like a great day, just kept feeling greater as time passed by. Phil was lying on a beach towel, not even bothering to look into the majestic lake water that was in front of him. Not caring about the number of trees surrounding the lake, or give a crap about the tourists snapping pictures. He was too busy taking in the sites that sat directly next to him. Liana had taken her clothes off to put on a red bikini. No matter how many times he's seen Liana, Phil couldn't get over how beautiful she was. He kept smiling at her, taking in what she had to offer. Her skin was as golden as the sun that kissed it, and her body formed into an almost perfect hourglass, minus the tad bit of baby fat she had on her hips. She sighed, brushing her hair behind her ears; laying onto her back to take in all the sun's splendor.

It was then that she noticed Phil staring at her and she blushed. A bright smile broke her face wide open, making his heart begin to pump faster. Even though the events that had just transpired before this did occur, it didn't faze them at the slightest. Phil reached over to touch Liana's left hand, then stroked his right up her arm just slightly to make goose bumps appear on her. She was looking at the sky, but still wore that pretty grin to indicate she was still there. Phil began to stroke his hands down her chest and across her belly, making her body quiver underneath them. "Do you wanna hear something good Liana?" Phil asked.

She turned her head towards him, nodded and waited for the answer. "I feel so good about this; I mean it. I am so happy that we met, and that we're together. Even as of today, I can't get over the fact that we are as one. You're so talented, so smart; so… amazingly beautiful, that you take my breath away." Liana propped herself up to look directly into his eyes, then removed her sunglasses. The moment that her eyes met his, he felt an electric-like connection zap both of them. "I'm happy too Phil, you have no idea how great it feels to finally have someone you know? Before, during most of my high school and earlier years, I couldn't find anyone to go out with me."

"I don't get it Liana, you're awesome! You've got the looks, which don't matter to me. You've got the brains; you even have talent when it comes to singing; which is one of the things that turns me on about you." Phil replied, stroking her cheek. There was whistle of wind through the trees and birds flying by, giving out their calls. Liana's head dropped down, while she curled her legs up and wrapped her arms around her knees. She sniffed, and began to sob; quickly turning into uncontrollable crying.

Phil pulled her towards him, and hugged her intensely. "What's the matter baby?" he asked her, kissing the top of her head. "It's just I-I used to be s-s-such a d-dork you know? I had p-pimples, b-bucked teeth with m-metal around them. I had a h-h-huge n-nose and a s-small face, a-a-and n-no b-boobs at all!" She could feel all the pain and ridicule flooding back to her when she was younger. "Yeah but baby, looks don't matter; not to me anyways. All that I care about is what's inside the woman's head and chestm and don't forget about soul. God knows you have a lot of that Liana." She sniffed again, still feeling sad about her past, and then reached over to initiate a hug, which Phil accepted.

Their hearts were beating at the same exact time, pulsing between each other's chests. A few seconds later they let go and continued to hold hands, as the sun began to set. "I can't believe its sunset already! It felt like we just got here minutes ago." Liana stated. Phil began to get worried because he knew the full moon would be coming out soon, and he was running very short on time. He felt in his pocket for the ring and closed his hand over the smooth leathery surface.

"What are you doing?" Liana asked him. She looked over while he was fishing around in his pocket. Phil laughed, "Just grabbing something real quick, here we are. Baby, can you close your eyes for a second?" he asked her. Liana nodded, then clenched her eyes tightly close and giggled. Phil blew off some dust from the ring container, got up and squatted on one knee. "Okay baby, open them." He told her. Liana opened her eyes, and felt confused as to what Phil was doing. "Liana, baby, you know that these last couple of years have been the best of my life." Phil said. "Yes, Phil; I know that, and it goes the same for me too."

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you Liana. I know that now; I know that you are my one and only, my soul mate; God's gift from Heaven to me." Phil continued. He pulled his left arm out and showed the ring's container, before lifting the lid. When it cracked open, Liana gasped, and covered her mouth. The biggest and brightest grin she had ever given Phil covered her face, followed by intense tears welling in her eyes. "Liana?" Phil asked. "Y-yes Phil?" she cried a bit. "Would you be my wife?" There was silence after the question was asked. The setting was perfect, a sunset in the background making orange and red lights form on the horizon. A slight breeze caressed them, blowing their hair around. Liana continued to sob, raising her shaky hands up to her face to clear her eyes. Cries of joy burst out of her like a cannon. "Yes… yes I will; I will marry you Phil!" Liana exclaimed. She lunged at him, holding him tightly, and dumping tears into his shoulder. He rubbed her back and then grabbed the ring and put it on her.

It was made of pure gold, with a five karat diamond on top. Smaller diamonds lined the rim of the ring, and the big diamond was supported by a golden heart. "My God Phil… It… It's beautiful." Liana said. "I knew you'd like it baby. It cost me quite a fortune but I've been saving up money ever since our first date." Liana looked up at him shockingly. "You've been planning this since day one?" He nodded in return. "Oh Phil, come here!" He grabbed her underneath her arms and spun her around. She laughed so hard while her hair whipped through the air.. As they were spinning Phil began to feel weird. His stomach was starting to tighten up, and both of his hands ached like crazy. That's when he noticed the full moon was rising. That familiar painful pale circle. His eyes grew blood shot and back snapped suddenly.

"Phil…? What's happening to you?!" Phil grunted and forced the transformation to slow a bit. Gazing at Liana, he motioned for her to head to the car. Liana nodded and ran towards the mustang, where she waited for Phil to arrive. "Get inside and lock the doors. If you don't, I'm liable to hurt y-you." Liana gasped as she watched Phil's feet begin to rip his shoes completely off. Phil grunted, trying to stop the spread of the curse but failed. His legs thickened so fast that the jeans tore wide open, exposing muscle that bubbled and grew.

"G-get in the car Liana… NOWWW!" Phil yelled, howling at the moon. "Okay Phil…I-I'm sorry." She ran towards the car, got in and locked all the doors, then rolled up the windows. Every time she saw him lurch in pain, she would gasp. She hated seeing him in so much agony. Phil slammed his hands onto the hood of the car, yelling as they both grew into the former claws he knew. He watched his arms violently shake, getting thicker. Liana's eyes burned at the sight in front of her. "This can't be right; there's no way…" Liana said to herself. A minute had passed and Phil was now ripping through his shirt and pants; growing taller. His jaw popped, allowing room for the snout to come in. "Oh my god…" She almost vomited, turning her head sideways so she wouldn't have to watch.

The transformation seemed to last forever. When it finally ended, Phil stood in the moonlight, staring at his new body, while thick black fur sprouted all over. He then howled into the air once more. It was so loud that it shook the ground. He slumped down, locking eyes with Liana. She gasped, covering her mouth, to prevent her from screaming. It took Phil almost all his strength to not rip the door off his car and bite his fiancé. Instead, he sprinted down the road and high tailed it to an alleyway, then he was gone. Liana stared down at the road behind the car, while he disappeared. Shrugging, and breathing deeply, Liana sighed. "How is this possible?" she asked herself. She couldn't fall asleep due to deep, intense fear. She just watched her lover change into a beast right before her eyes.

The full moon appeared so bright and huge in the sky, lighting up everything as if it were daylight. That night Liana sat in the car, stroking her hair, her mouth still trembling. She was trying to ignore all of what had just transpired. It wasn't possible. The best she could do was pray for him and hope tomorrow he would be alright and normal. With that, Liana closed her eyes, and let her sadness be her guide to sleep.

Meanwhile down, deep in a cave off away from the city; Harold and the old woman sat around a campfire. Harold was fully transformed into a werewolf. There was a pot stewing over the flames, boiling over. "So what are you up too?" Harold grunted towards the woman. "I'm creating a potion for our somewhat new member to take with him." She replied. She dumped this white liquid into the pot followed by a hair from her head. "I need some of his blood to complete the potion." Harold stood up, crouching so he wouldn't hit his head on the ceiling. "What is that stuff anyways? It smells like complete crap." Harold stated, sneezing.

"This potion is an acceleration potion. Its main purpose is to accelerate the metabolism and speed up processes such as, healing, slow down bleeding or even rapidly increase the duration of pregnancy; which is what I'm using it for." "Why's that?" Harold asked. The woman stopped moving and looked at him with annoyance. "I plan on having Phil give this potion to his new fiancé before they have sex. If my measurements are correct, which they normally are, Liana will become nine months pregnant within a day, and then give birth to a daughter." The woman stirred the pot vigorously while talking to herself. Then there was a glowing light that broke the darkness behind them. It was a weird red aura that surrounded the object. "What's that?" Harold asked, pointing towards the object.

"Don't you remember what that is? It's the Sword of Sacrifice Harold." The cave began to feel cold and damp as the boiling pot created humid steam. Harold sat down, shaking the cavernous walls, looking at the object. "But what do you want to do with that?" The woman stopped again, and sat down on a boulder behind her, rubbing her face. "That sword is used to create an army of lycanthropes. Once it's satiated it'll be used by the leader of the army, in order to forcibly transform those who have not been bitten." Harold stroked his bottom jaw and sighed. "So what you're saying is that this sword will transform anyone; I mean absolutely anyone." The woman nodded.

Harold just grunted, sitting down. "What's wrong Harold?" the woman asked, walking over to him. "You still haven't explained to me WHY that potion is being made." He replied. Hilary jumped a bit, staring at the potion. "Something told me to make this Harold, don't question me right now." the woman replied. She looked so old to Harold. Wrinkles were all over her face, her nose was long, and cheekbones pronounced. Her hair was barely hanging on.

Then Phil appeared in the cave's entrance, stooping low to enter. Harold turned, watching as his protégé entered their establishment. "Sit down Phillip; I have an important task for you." "What is that my lady?" Phil replied. The woman stood up and pointed at the boiling pot. "I need some of your blood, would you mind?" Phil held out his right claw without any problem and watched as the woman used a sharp stone to slit his hand wide open. The blood trickled into the pot, before his wound healed. The pot bubbled furiously, turning a bright red color and then settled into a dark, murky liquid. "What is that for my lady?" Phil asked her. The woman grabbed a small glass vial and dumped the liquid into it. "My dear, this is a potion that is key to our entire plan."

She stood in front of him, with a stern look. "There are three ingredients; my hair, your blood and the seed from a fellow werewolf. I need you to give this to your new fiancé and watch in amazement as her belly as a baby grows inside her womb." "But why does it have to be a daughter? Why can't it be a son? Does it matter really? And why does it have to be my seed?" Harold interrupted her. Hilary dropped her arms, and looked over at Harold. She was so annoyed by him at this point so she figured she'd tell them both. "Because I've seen the future and Phil is going to die, I'm not sure how his death will be brought to him, but it will happen nonetheless."

She trailed off, turning her gaze from them, watching the floor. Harold knew she was hiding something. He watched her as she played with the bandage covering her right hand. Why is that there? Harold thought. She inhaled deeply and continued. "I need his wife to be to have a daughter, so that I can bring Phil back because he is a vital asset to this plan. Only the daughter of the man who made her can rebirth him; that's why I need this to be done." "But, what about the seed? If it's the man who made her, it'd be me, not Phil." Harold asked, looking at her.

She shook her head, and forced herself to remain calm. "Phillip cannot be used since this potion was created before he was infected. I didn't know that he would be needed but I don't have enough time to remake the potion. His blood will overtake your seed Harold, since his soul is part of that woman's. Soul can overpower many things, even the tiniest thing such as a seed."

"How do you know I'm going to die?" Phil asked her. She put a cork in the vial and walked over to him. Her face was shrouded in darkness, but her voice felt reassuring. "I've been called by some spirits and they showed me a glimpse of the future. They did not tell me about you until now, hence why you could not help fertilize the potion. All I can say is that yes someday you will die, as will we all; yours will come sooner however. I need to make sure that you can be brought back. Do not fear death Phillip." Phil nodded, reluctantly, accepting the vial. The fire from the middle of the cave flickered out, followed by a loud gust of wind blowing through. He stood up and lumbered out of the cave, grasping the vial in his left claw, gingerly, so it wouldn't break. He stopped just outside the cave entrance, taking in the moonlight.

Phil looked down towards the beach, and could just make out the mustang in the parking lot. Even though something was telling him deep down he shouldn't do it, he masked the feeling and began his run towards Liana, holding the vial in his teeth now. "REMEMBER PHILLIP; SHE MUST DRINK IT SOON! IF SHE DOES NOT THE POTION WILL AGE AND IT WILL NOT WORK!" Phil grunted in return and trekked down the mountainside, feeling the air blow through his thick fur.

The baby he was going to have will have his curse, being made out of his blood, a werewolf's seed and the old woman's hair. He knew for certain it would happen; only time could tell, when it would happen. He didn't want to make an innocent child obtain this curse but he couldn't fight the urge to give the potion to Liana. With the thought of death and the baby on his mind, Phil sprinted down the road, ignoring painful guilt now growing in his soul.
