"So siddharth, why are you wandering alone here ? Aren't you interested in flirting with girls in the party ?" asked meera staring at the starry night sky. "I don't like parties that much, neither do i flirt with girls" said Siddharth. "Really ?" asked meera turning her gaze towards him. "Yeah, but why aren't you enjoying the party with your friends ?" he asked looking into her eyes. "It's noisy in there and i don't like noisy places." she said. "what about you ?" she continued. "well I don't like noisy places either" said Siddharth gazing at the sky full of stars. Both of them talked for quite awhile without realising. Meera suddenly asked Siddharth for his mobile phone and clicked a selfie and said "I'm quite sure that after drinking this much I will barely remember this night so it's your duty to remind me of today."
"Ahh..okay." Siddharth replied as meera returned him his mobile phone. "Siddharth?" called out meera. "yeah?" he replied as he looked into her eyes. "Do you believe in love at first sight?" she asked. "umm..I may not believe in love at first sight but I do believe in love at first meeting." as he finished a noise came from the hall.
"five...four..." As they heard it Meera whispered "it's time.."
"three...two...one.." as the countdown completed meera pulled him close and kissed him.
"happyyyyyy neeeewwwwww yearrrrrr" shouted everyone in the hall.
after a few moments later, they broke their kiss and then meera spoke in a soft voice "And with this, I gave you my very first kiss Siddharth so I'm counting on you to remind me of today or I'll never forgive you." Siddharth grabbed her hands gently and replied "I promise I'll remind you each and every moment of today."
Meera smiled and hugged him tightly. Siddharth, too wrapped his arms around her and then kissed her forehead.
