Chapter 81: Familiar roads

Outside the room, a while back...

Lady Lilian was helped to sit down as her breath calmed down but her body was weaker than before. When the butler went away to call for the ambulance the maid Agnes was left standing there with Lady Marzea glaring at her, "Why are you being brought here?" 

For the Lady, Agnes was only the maid who had accidentally destroyed the luggage and it made no sense why she was brought as an offender here. Lilian had said nothing to Vincent and even if Prudence had explained all the events of the morning, there was nothing that would make the maid look like an accomplice. When Agnes did not answer immediately, Lady Marzea only thought she had done other than the plan that was for her to do. How foolish, thought Marzea, both these ladies have no brain on how to seize an opportunity.

No wonder Vincent did not choose for them. But then again, Prudence was no smart one. At least she did not do these lunatic tricks.
