Chapter 186: Trick 185: Ace vs the Spider Nation
Ace watched this guy run around and his eyes jumped as he disappeared.
He appeared in front of a Spiderman wearing a pitch black suit with a white skull on the chest instead of a spider!
Ace held his hands out in front of the bullets and blocked them all, saying "Excuse you!" The guy stopped and said "Who are you?" Ace replied "Cloak, also a superhero, and a wizard." the guy said "Like Dr. Strange?"
Ace let out a breath and nodded, the guy nodded and said "Cool. Now get out of the way so I can kill this scumbag." Ace stopped him saying "No, I don't think I will." the guy in the spider suit frowned and Ace asked "Are you Peter Parker?"
The guy fell silent and Ace explained "You're not in your universe. There's a small problem with my Universe, spell gone wrong and sucked you all here. However, I would prefer you don't kill anyone in your own universe eithe- oh for fuck's sake!" as another Spiderman swung by, kicking at the criminal behind Ace with all his force, trying to kill him.
Ace pushed the criminal out of the way and was kicked out, going flying through a building!
The Spiderman landed on the ground and looked at Ace flying away as the Skull Spiderman blew the criminal away. The two Spidermen looked at each other saying "Hey."
Ace flew back and looked at the criminal, saying angrily "You guys are something else! Let's see your Spider Sense in action then!" as he flashed, punching the Spiderman who kicked him instantly, sending him smashing into a parked car!
He cracked his neck and turned to the Skull Spiderman, saying "Come on, Peter." Skull Spiderman raised his fists and fired his wrist guns, but Ace pressed out a shield and charged at him, swinging a fist.
The Spiderman fell back and dodged the fist, kicking out as Ace slapped his legs back to the ground, sending them into the asphalt before grabbing with his hand as chains burst from the ground, wrapping him up.
Ace ducked and raised his palm as the other Spiderman flew over him, getting blown into the air with a mini tornado!
Ace threw his hand into the air and lightning fell from the sky, striking the Spiderman in the sky as the Skull Spiderman destroyed the stone chains, kicking at Ace, who raised his arm, blocking the kick and sliding back touching the building behind him.
Ace frowned and tapped his fingers on the air, spears of light shooting out as the Skull Spiderman twisted and dodged all the spears. Ace traced a circle and a massive snake magic of ice shot out, hissing at Skull Spiderman, chasing after him.
Ace looked up and grabbed the air as the Spiderman in the sky was captured by a hand that appeared from a rift. The Spiderman struggled and Ace snorted, clenching his fist, turning him into an ice cube.
However another Spiderman showed up and shattered the ice cube, freeing the other Spiderman!
Ace was getting confused, so many Spidermen! This one had a black and red suit with claws for hands and 4 spider legs coming out of his back! Ace muttered "A real pain in my ass… Who are you?" The Spiderman caught the other spiderman, putting him down on a roof, replying "Superior Spiderman!"
Ace sighed, "Oh great… How many more Spidermen are here…" seemingly speaking it into existence, a few more Spider people appeared on the scene. Ace looked all around him as Spider people landed all around him on buildings and walls, looking down at him.
Ace narrowed his eyes and canceled the Ice snake, revealing his hands, crackling with magical purple arcs as he said "Well well well, am I the bad guy now?" All sorts of Spidermen with different shapes, sizes, and colors looked at him.
Pink ones, white ones, black ones, blue and red ones, white and green ones, ones with 6 arms, ones that were more spider than human, everything!
Ace cracked his neck and said "Everyone, this isn't a Spiderverse, okay? You've been dragged into this Universe unwillingly. There's no issue here, if you could all please just calm down and wait for a while, we can send you back. No need for hundreds of Spidermen to be swinging around in a Spider Cluster."
Some of the Spidermen, said "Spiderwomen." Ace raised his hands and added frustratingly "Yes, yes, Spiderwomen as well. Why don't you all just calm down and get down from the buildings before we have a Spider-problem. A lot of Spiderpeople can cause a spider-mess and we don't spider-want that."
The Spiderpeople looked at each other and one of them asked "Are you mocking us?" another asked "Why were you attacking our spider-friends?" Ace rubbed his eyes and shouted "LISTEN! You don't belong here! This isn't a Spider-reunion! Play nice or I will make you play nice! Do you understand?!"
All the Spiderpeople looked at each other before webbing Ace at the same time.
Ace sighed and said "Oh my god, why doesn't anybody listen…" he floated up as his eyes glew bright purple. He spread out his hands and flames burst from his body, incinerating the webbing coming for him.
He floated in the air with his hands obscured by goopy purple energy that crackled like lightning as he said "Spider-Man has been a real pain in my ass today." he raised a fist and they all watched as Ace smashed the air itself, shattering everything around them!
They looked around and swung away but the buildings started warping, falling in on each other as night turned to day instantly, revealing floating orbs in the sky with revolving pieces of the city.
Ace floated in the middle as he snorted, waving his hands, gigantic pillars sprung from the revolving orbs, runes swimming along them as dragons of all sorts of different elements flew out one after the other from each pillar, chasing the Spiderpeople.
Ace manipulated the mirror dimension, making up and down the same thing, all the Spiderpeople watched as the city split in half, unrolling in the sky, surrounding them all in an endless city full of moving cars, buildings, people, etc.
Ace snapped his fingers and they all froze as the buildings extended, opening up like mouths and biting at the Spiderpeople. His mouth curled up and he laughed as he disappeared.
The Spiderpeople looked at each other asking "What do we do!?" Superior Spiderman frowned and looked around "Does anyone know what's happening?" One ancient looking Spiderman looked around, saying "This is the Mirror Dimension! A world that can be manipulated at will by a Sorcerer. The only way we get out of here is to be stronger than the Sorcerer directly or defeat him."
The Spiderpeople looked at each other, talking amongst themselves.
As they were talking a fire hydrant pierced through the air, swallowing a Spiderman who seemed to be crippled along with a few other strange Spiderpeople…
There was even a Spiderman throwing around Hostess products!
The Spiderpeople formulated a plan and swung off together when suddenly the sky was opened like a box, showing a gigantic Ace as he asked "A Sorcerer Spiderman? Curious!" The Spider Supreme looked up in shock, shouting "Reality Warper!? Oh no…"
Ace laughed, "Oh no is right, my little spider-friends." As everything turned to darkness, all the Spider-People fell from the sky into a giant mouth that closed into a toothy grin with the Spiderpeople trapped inside the teeth.
The teeth shattered into millions of pieces before Ace put them together, clapping happily. The Spiderpeople turned into a picture in a frame as they watched Ace straighten the picture in a house before they spiraled again into a tree made of Spiderpeople.
A Spiderperson fell from the tree and knocked Ace in the head in the shape of a spider-apple. Ace chuckled and held the apple, swallowing it whole as the entire world around them folded in on itself, the Spiderpeople holding each other's arms, locked together.
Ace was below them, holding a string as he flew them around like a kite, lightning struck the kite and everything lit up brightly, changing their perception of reality again.
Ace sat in front of them in a psychiatrist uniform, asking "And when did this Spider-family occur?" The Spiderperson on a long chair swapped between every single version of Spiderman every fraction of a second as they moved in unison, slowly getting up, changing every movement they made.
Ace grabbed their leg and smiled, "You seem to be tangled up in a web, pal! Let me help you." as he whipped the leg down, a long line of Spiderpeople exploded from the Spiderperson Ace was holding.
Ace laughed and swung them around like a lasso, wrangling a massive Man-Spider that Ace was suddenly riding like a bull.
The Man-Spider jumped and smashed through the floor like glass as they all fell into a hospital, turning into Spider-Babies as Ace looked at them through a glass window, saying emotionally "Doctor, they're all mine!"
The Spider Doctor was stunned and the Hospital exploded, the next thing they knew, they saw two giant Aces putting them down like cards, one grinning "Spider-Flush!" The other cursed "Damn! I had a Spider-Straight!"
As the Spiderpeople were trapped in playing cards!
Ace picked them all up and shuffled them, smiling "Let's continue~" as he ate the deck, pulling out a bouquet of Spider-Flowers for a Spider-crowd that clapped happily. Ace bowed to the crowd and said "For my next trick, I'll make the Spiderpeople disappear!"
He clapped and his cloak swallowed him, making him disappear instead.
The Spiderpeople were shuffled around randomly and looked up to see Ace holding a vacuum, cursing "Damn Dust-Spiders!" sucking them all up as they landed in a grassland, looking at Ace's back as he wore a chinese robe, saying "You must've let the Tang Clan destroy our Clan, Spider'Er. They stole your Dragon Scale Spider God Bone of Heavenly Demons, I will not let them destroy everything we have! The Clan is counting on you!"
As he jumped from the cliff headfirst.
A massive shadow engulfed the spiderpeople and smashed them, the next thing they knew they were on a battlefield in army uniforms as Ace grabbed a Spiderwoman, shouting "LOOK ALIVE RECRUIT! THIS IS WAR NOT A SPIDER-TEAPARTY!" as he shot the gun over a wall of sandbags.
Ace was shot in the head and laid on the ground with his tongue out and 'X's for eyes before melting into a liquid that engulfed all the Spiderpeople, plunging them into darkness once more.
Suddenly, they were all on the street, frozen up to the neck in ice.
They blinked and looked around before some of them vomited on the spot. Ace laughed and waved his hand, lifting their masks as he said "It's okay, the vertigo stops after a few minutes…" the Spiderpeople who threw up had their mouths and masks cleaned as Ace chuckled, "Alright, enough fun. You're all in a Time Dilation at the moment, now we can talk without worry…"
He took out a tablet and smiled "Now, who ISN'T Peter Parker." The Spiderpeople groaned and Ace chuckled happily, tilting his head.
