Chapter 1: Prologue.
The clock is ticking like never before.
As every minute passes, I can feel my face covered with sweat. As uncomfortable as it gets, I can't bear to lose any minute. Not even a second.
Ruffling through the documents, yet not a single one is useful enough. Lights off, files and books scattered around, thunders rumbling outside, dust almost everywhere and here I am having goosebumps all over my body.
Not knowing where and what I should find, I bumped over one of the large cabinets, just behind me. Scared by my own scream of pain, trying to hold every ache that fills my head, but all not for nothing.
A few large and thick files were toppled over by the cabinets, gaining my attention. I lowered my body and picked them up for me to scan over.
My eyes stopped at one name, Okamoto Keito, together with a couple of papers related to his case. Something is fishy. Something is definitely going on, but I do not know what it is. 'Darn it.' It sucks but I still need a lot of investigation regarding all these, all that is happening.
'Ryo, it's now or never. My scaredy-cat self is no longer exist now.' I whispered, convincing myself as I carry a large shabby cardboard box outside the room.
Tiptoeing and ensuring not to leave any fingerprints nor footsteps behind, I left the building.
