Chapter 30: Dowry
When Lu Jueyu was back in her room, Mother Lu knocked on the door and walked in. Seeing her mother, Lu Jueyu asked, "Mother, what's the matter?"
Mother Lu closed the door and sat beside her. She took out a small bag from her sleeve and stuffed it into Lu Jueyu's hand. She looked at the bag and asked, "Mother, what is this?"

After Mother Lu left, Lu Jueyu opened the bag and counted the money. A total of 50 yuan, and some coupons. With the dowry gift from Li Chenmo, she would have a dowry of 300 yuan. That's a lot of money for a villager, especially for a girl. After all, many people are still patriarchal in this day and age, even when leaders said that women can hold up half the world as men.

Lu Jueyu looked at the ten yuan in her hand and said with a smile, "I won't. Thank you, second sister-in-law."
"If you have good things, remember to share them with your natal family."
After leaving these words, Wang Muxiao left her room. Lu Jueyu shook her head. In the past few days, she has roughly understood their personalities. Wang Muxiao was willing to give her ten yuan, which was considered very good already. After all, she was stingy even with her own husband and daughter including herself.

Standing outside the gate, Han Yuheng knocked on the gate and shouted, "Is there anyone at home?"
Behind him stood a few educated youths. Due to the long journey and the cold weather, their lips were chapped and slightly pale.
Seeing that no one came out, Han Yuheng called again, "Uncle Lu, are you at home?"

When Lu Cheng opened the door and saw a group of people who came with the team leader, he was stunned.
