Chapter 1: Evermore
The Soft and Quiet Caws of the Crows fill my head. My robes drag a cross the ground glittering in the blues and purples reflected by night. Landing softly on my shoulders they softly speak, Weaving a tale I can never hope to understand.
The world comes alive with lights as it burns beneath my feet. The voices in my head come alive shouting they want them all dead. The sound of Them fills me with power as a Sinister smile crosses my face. They want the rivers red and I will bleed them all to make it so. With a thousand battles there will be a Thousand more, each a win.
"Have I pleased you yet my gods?" The buzzing of voices dies down but with it comes a feeling of unending nights. With a Flap of wings the Crows take to the sky. "Spread Chaos my friends, For with it is Opportunity."
An unspoken answer rings throughout my head, No I haven't pleased them, Not anywhere close. Reaching up I Pull my hood down.
"The God Of Distortion needs more then to be a puppet of the other gods, Don't you agree... Cazoron?"
I Didn't bother to turn around to see my new visitor. "And You think yourself Better? I do not wish to Trade my cage for another's." I laughed without feeling as I turned to face Aries.
"I Wouldn't dream of doing so, Rather, I have a Job That might peak an interest of someone of your ability." Aries's Smile so Sickeningly like mine was filled with humor that put me on Alert.
"Oh? And What Job would that be?" Leaning against the tree the smell of burning wood greeted my senses.
"An Opportunity to be free, The Gods of the other Cultures seem to be struggling with....some Complications." A Twitch of his eye was the only hint of his discomfort.
"And How am I, A Lesser god then all the others, Suppose to solve a 'Complication' The Great gods can't?"
