Chapter 15: She's what
Robby's pov
"She just kissed me. ALICE KISSED ME, aaah she kissed me. Yes, Alice kissed me, I-I won her heart finally. " I shouted and got looks from people. Does this mean that she wants to be my girlfriend.
Well first I need to find her. I quickly whipped my phone out and called our matchmaker Riley. " Hey girl, you won't believe this. Alice accepted and kissed me " I said like a girl who has seen her favorite artist.
" That's good for you bro. You know when she first came to university she used to talk about you all the time with me. Later she found out she was gay. " Riley said excitedly but forgot she just slipped something very important.
" Did you j-just say that she is gay " I asked in disbelief as I felt my heart break into many pieces. " Well she is but don't feel disheartened, you see I know that somewhere she does love you. " Riley tired to reassure me but i know that since she's gay she won't feel attracted to me Or find me disgusting.
I feel like I shouldn't pressure myself on her. Love can make you do so many things for the one you love. Well she did accepted me, but what if she just did it so i dont feel bad or what if she needed something to take her mind off of something. All these possibilities are making me go crazy.
I walked down the street thinking about what's to come with this relationship. I mean she's gay and I'm straight, I know my heart wants her but what about her...
There are many people who force the other person to love them and make them believe that what they are doing is bad.
I am not like them so instead of forcing or ending something before it started I am going to talk to her about this, yes this is a good idea since communication is important in any relationship. Yes yes ,that's it, yeah, yeah that's it.
I messaged Alice to meet me at her favorite cafe tonight. It is a date but also an way for our communication. While I was walking to my place I felt as if someone was following me but there was nothing behind me hell not even a mosquito was roaming in the air.
I glanced at both side while keeping my head straight and quickly whipped my phone out of my pocket. I left a message to Alice saying that I will be there a bit late as I took in the address. I Slowly slipped the phone in my pocket and walked to an empty ally while whistling.
I stopped at a trash can reached for my pocket and took out my stun gun and made a 360° turn and pulled the trigger.
The man fell to the ground as it electrocuted him. I whipped my phone out and contacted fox. " Code R, send team IL at street lockton, block C, valley 10, ASAP. " I said in my monotonous voice. " Copy that, Fender " Fox answered as he hung up.
I took a step back as I waited for team to come, when I noticed a ball rolling towards me I nodded and left the place and rushed to my place to change my clothes. When I was ready I called a cab and went to the restaurant. It was quite peculiar knowing that it was " Dietrich" Restaurant.
My eyes scanned the place for Alice and soon met those ocean blue orbs that were drowning me in pureness, smiling brightly towards me showing her white pearls. Damn she is so cute. I need to protect her with my life.
I walked towards our table with the flowers and offered them to her with a sweet smile. She accepted them with a kind smile and took in the scent of the flowers. I sat opposite to her while gently taking her palm in mine and pressing a soft kiss to her knuckles.
" Let's order shall we your majesty " I asked her with a gentle smile. She nodded her head slowly. I beckoned a waiter to come to our table. I gave the menu first to her to order. She flipped through it like it was nothing and ordered a bowl of Gomoku soba, beef shabu shabu, and oyakodon.
I honestly didn't understand any of the dishes she ordered and once I got hold of the menu I was completely lost, the names of the dishes were so confusing. The only dishes I understood were some Indian and one Italian dish. So I settled on ordering a bowl of chicken biriyani, fish curry, 3 garlic naan, and chicken Alfredo.
Meanwhile the food was being prepared I settled to confront Alice. " So Alice I had a question for you " I asked while sipping on water. She looked up from her drink and nodded. " Alice are you gay " The moment I asked she nearly spit the water all over my face. She started choking so I quickly got up from my seat and rushed to rub her back.
After a few coughs she calmed down and looked at me bewildered. Her eyes felt guilty at first but then she took hold of my hand and started rubbing circles on the back of my hand with her thumb.
" Well technically yes I am gay but... I like you, you see after you left for foreign I used to talk about you all the time keeping your memories with me. As time passed I started to forget and I tried dating men but it just didn't feel right. You on the other hand are perfect, a person I dreamed of my whole life. " She said softly.
" But... You are gay, that means you aren't interested in men which means that you are forcing yourself to like me because you don't want to break my heart, isn't it. " I said with sad eyes. "No no no that's not true I am choosing you because I like you " She said with comforting eyes.
" Well if you genuinely like me then doesn't that make you a bisexual since you like men and women. " I said. " Oh hell no, I ain't bisexual thats bold of you to assume. " She said in a funny tone. " Well then what shall we call you hmm, I mean you do say you like me so you aren't purely gay " I teased her to which she whinned like a child.
Deep down I knew that she is just hooking up with me to forget about someone. I just want to protect her and keep her with myself since she is so special to me that I took a break from my job.
After some small talks about ourselves our food arrived which was surprisingly delicious. I mean the food tasted almost heavenly. Alice devoured her food within seconds. I watched as she devoured it, she looked up from her plate when she felt my gaze on her and gave me a nervous smile.
" You don't think that I am weird right" She asked a little worried. I gave her a smile and shaked my head. She smiled knowing that I wasn't like others. After we finished our dinner I asked her if she would like to go shopping.
She squealed upon hearing the word shopping to which I chuckled. I took her to many stores and trust me when I say that I felt broke is an understatement. I wanted to see her happy after what happened with the 'Dietrich' incident.
I won't go into the details about how I know but I just know. While we were walking out of a store for the fifth time I spotted a ice cream truck and immediately asked Alice if she'd like to have some ice cream.
She nodded like a child and hopped towards the truck, seeing her like this I couldn't help but smile at her little antics. I took hold of all the bags and started following behind her, all these years of training finally coming in use.
She stared at the menu intently while I was feeling tired from holding all the bags, I couldn't even put the bags down at the ground since she said that the bags will go dirty and the clothes will get dirty. I know you know it doesn't make sense but I'll do it for her sake.
Finally after what felt like eternity she decided on an oreo and vanilla cone with three ice cream biscuits, I don't understand where does she get this much space in her stomach. I settled to order myself an ordinary chocolate chip cone. After paying for the sixth time I let out a content sigh when she settled to sit on a bench.
My legs were aching with all the walking around. I looked toward her to see her having a drop of ice cream on the corner of her lips. I lifted my thumb and wiped the stain off of her. She freezed at my action. She reluctantly looked up from her ice cream meeting my eyes watching me lick my thumb.
She physically gulped as slowly a blush creeped onto her cheeks. I smirked at her reaction and leaned down to kiss her on the cheek. As if the blush wasn't enough on her cheeks she turned bright red like a tomato. That face right there made me laugh out loud.
She groaned and smacked my shoulder and quickly got up from her seat walking down the street in full speed. I tried matching her speed holding all the bags but it was too damn difficult. I called ourselves a cab and dropped her at her place. I have her a peck on her lips one last time before leaving for my house.
When I reached my front door I saw my mail box open, I reached out to see what was inside while having my danger button in one of my palms. There was a letter inaide, I opened the letter just as I was about to read it I felt something prick my neck and just then everything around me started to stirr and I fell limp on the ground with the letter still in my hand.

3rd person pov
From the dark light a shadow imerged
Staring at the limp body of robby on the floor. They walked towards the body, with a sly smile on their lips.
They crouched down near the body not even glancing at it, simply staring at the letter in its hand. With their gloved hand they picked it up, and read its contents.
A maniacal laugh rang through the street as they stared at the piece of paper, bringing it to their nose sniffing the ink. A small smirk formed at their lips as they tucked the paper in their pocket and plopped the body on their shoulders as they walked away from the scene.
