Chapter 2: New Family
- Adrean's POV -
I was giving Midnight a tour of our apartment when I noticed him looking around in awe mumbling about the place not smelling like alcohol .
I was thinking about asking him about what he meant by that , but I remembered that's why he killed his father . I decided to let it go and talk about it with him in the morning , as I showed him my room he looked at it like it was a whole kingdom . I told him he would have to sleep on the couch until he got his own bed . I told him that we would be going shopping tomorrow and to get things he needed from his house . I told Midnight that I was going to bed hinting that he should to .
- Midnight's POV -
Adrean told me he was going to bed , I knew he was secretly hinting that I should to . I told Adrean goodnight and went towards the couch . The couch was actually pretty comfortable when I laid down I quickly went to sleep . I started dreaming dreaming about my father death but the roles were switched . Instead of mother cowering behind me she was yelling at father to kill me and he complied .
- Adrean's POV -
I heard crying from the living room I got up to check it out turns out it was Midnight crying and shaking from side to side on the couch . I picked him up and carried him to my bedroom and laid him down on my bed when he started to heat up . I started running a cold bath for Midnight I stripped him and left him in the tub hoping he would cool down . After awhile waiting for him to wake up I went back to bed and fell asleep .
- Midnight POV -
I woke up in the bathtub freezing cold when I noticed I wasn't in the bathroom near the living room but in Adrean's . I got out of the bathtub and rapped a towel around my waist , as I walked out I saw Adrean sleeping only in boxers . I felt heat rise on my cheeks when I heard him mumble my name in his sleep . I decided not to wake him I borrowed a pair of his clothes and left his room .
