Chapter 2: Checking Everything Over
After having the talk about everything I needed to know and what I'd like for my role. Arceus when she nearly sent me off remembered to ask me if I would like a Pokemon team. Thinking about it I decided on my team and ended up with the following. A Corviknight female named Vala, a Scolipede female named Ruin, a Thievul male named Rascal, and a Dreepy female named Jewel as my team, mostly female cause a running gag of luck. With that all decided and planned out I was soon being birthed by Rayquaza, guess my mom is a sky snake. As I was live birthed by Rayquaza onto the ground, I stood up eventually. Flicking myself clean of what gunk a live birth includes as Rayquaza kindly helps clean me off. Not really concerned where all her tongue went.
After getting clean I looked around and noticed an assortment of items near by. Walking over I first pick up a note saying that it was 01/01/400, meaning I was like 1,600yrs from the main timeline? After reading that I laid the note back down and put on clothes I'm familiar with. After putting on the skin tight conforming military clothing that felt comforting to wear. I put on my armored boots and Full Armor System (FAS) with all off its attachments and rigging. Rayquaza she was a sweetheart with helping me the best she could with putting my armor on. After getting that all on I slid my lower face mask over my head and down under my chin making a neck cover.
Following that I put on my glasses I am so used to as they were useful prototypes in my career. After putting them on I flicked my eyes left and right turning them on. What came up was the details of my gear and a note about my guns. My guns while they can fire normal rounds, are able to my typing energies or moves as ammunition. Picking up and strapping my guns and knives to their respective places I glossed over the weapon and equipment information.

All in all my gear was rather perfect and just right for me so I couldn't complain. Turning to Rayquaza an interesting tidbit appeared that made me smile.

After reading that I gave her a kiss on her uh snout? And looked at the four pokeballs containing my team. Picking them up off the ground I take note that balls aren't white and red. They're a dark chromatic gray on the bottom, with a metallic purple seal lining, and a black ball top with the etchings of their respective Pokemon. Tossing them up and catching them a bit I clip the balls over my heart onto my front armor plate. As I do so I released my Pokemon and noticed them all in their first forms. Which is honestly okay with me as that means bonding with them from their baby stages.
As I released them all Rayquaza showed me how my face looks. Which I smiled wryly at given that it is my old features as well nothing changed really. I still have my same dark messy brown hair, hazel eyes, sorta pale look, and beard stubble. Taking everything in calmly and looking at my four team members. I remember something I used to say to those I worked with when we mobilized. As I didn't like involving religion in war unless for the dead. Looking at them all slowly one by one in the eyes I slowly and softly mention it.
"May war be with us."
Getting a confused look from them but I didn't expect them to understand so young. So I silently kept it to myself when I noticed Fulma looking at me intently. Chuckling wryly I look at her and smile at her.
"Take care, mom we'll see each other whenever we want, right?"
In response she gave me a playful smirk before taking off into the sky lazily. Eventually heading into space becoming a star in the sky as I notice the surroundings turning dark.
