Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Elusive 'Dragon'

I looked out at the desert. The winds were strong today. Not enough to produce a true sandstorm, but certainly strong enough that I had to use my earth powers to redirect the sand to avoid getting pelted.

"Careful," Uneri said as he trailed behind me. "There are some spots where the ground can cave in."

"Like quicksand?" Jiro asked, walking alongside him.

"Not exactly," Kisara said as she flew overhead. "The sand sometimes covers softer than expected ground, or even ruins."

I nodded. I'd come across hidden ruins. The roof was sturdy, but sand had managed to get into them via slight cracks.

"Maybe we should all take to the air," Uneri suggested.
