Chapter 100: Chapter 100: The Scent of Orange Blossoms_1

Jin Muchen drove the car back to where it used to be and hurriedly got out of the car when he couldn't see Su Qiqi.

"I'm here." Su Qiqi came over with a bunch of yellow roses.

Jin Muchen sighed with relief, "Let's go."

The two of them rode in comfortable silence on the way back. The scent of roses filled the car while Su Qiqi held the flowers.

"Grandfather has already gone home," Jin Muchen announced after parking the car in front of the villa.

"Alright. I got it."

Walking out with the roses, Su Qiqi didn't have to share a room with Jin Muchen tonight.

Getting to the stairs, Su Qiqi turned her back to Jin Muchen and said, "I'm going to bed. Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Jin Muchen went back alone to the bedroom upstairs.

The bedroom felt eerily empty. Once in bed, the familiar scent of his own sheets was mingled with that of the gardenia flowers.

Su Qiqi seemed to like the scent of gardenias, using lotion and shampoo with that aroma. Today, however, she bought roses instead.
