Chapter 120: A good medicine.

Li Jun heard footsteps around him but he did not move. His nose was itching but he couldn't even scratch it.

Yu Yan had a death grip on his left hand.

She would let go of it only to wipe his brows with a warm cloth. She didn't even leave his side all this time.

She would call the servants to pass her whatever she needed.

Li Jun hated just laying idly but all these things happening, was his 'great' idea so he had to suffer through it.

If Yu Yan attended office tomorrow and got wind of yesterday's attack, she would ask him and if he was forced to tell her the truth. She would blame herself and have questions, which he wouldn't be able to answer.

It would be goodbye to a normal life.

She would fear another attack all the rest of her life.

Li Jun did not want her to live with that kind of baggage. She had only just started to forget about the amusement park incident. That trauma was more than enough.

"Madam, the medicine" Li Jun suddenly heard as Yu Yan let go of his hand.
