Chapter 151: Kill Someone

"GET OUT!!" Li Jun yelled at the butler and servants who had come over after hearing the crash.

"Master, Madam..." The butler tried to intervene between the fight.

Li Jun glared and charged towards the butler, swiftly picking up the smaller man by his throat.

"Li Jun!!" Yu Yan rushed over in alarm. Li Jun had gone mad and was trying to kill his own butler.

"Master.. " The butler croaked.. his breath leaving him, his feet dangling over the floor.

"I don't like repeating myself" Li Jun said gnashing his teeth in anger. He needed desperately to kill someone to calm down.

"Li Jun stop it, you are going to kill the man" Yu Yan tried pulling on Li Jun's arms to get him to let go. But Li Jun was too strong.

"Ma..master.." The bulter was about to die.

"Li Jun please stop..please." Yu Yan called frightfully and tried pulling him off but to no avail. She called the other servants for help her but they were too scared to intervene now...They did not want a fate like that of the butler's.

The butler began to roll up his eyes as he started to die.

Yu Yan could do nothing but keep on screaming and pulling.

She had no way to stop him? The butler started to get limp as he began to lose consciousness and Li Jun did not look like he was satisfied yet.

"Aahh.. Li Jun.. my stomach!" She groaned loudly in pain. She hoped that this would work...she prayed. " It Hurts, it hurts.. " Yu Yan dropped down to the ground and pretended to faint.

Li Jun heard her drop and turned instantly towards her ,letting the butler go. The butler fell in a heap but was thankfully alive.... barely.

"Yu Yan. Honey!.. what's wrong?!! tell me what's wrong?" Li Jun said desperately. He had done it again. He had done it again. He mentally berated himself again and again. He turned Yu Yan towards him but then stopped.

~ SLAP~

Li Jun looked down at his wife in shock. She had slapped him... really slapped him. But atleast she was fine? Realisation dawned on him. He caught himself as the anger began again. He refused to let his darkness overcome him.

" Have you lost your damn mind? What if you had killed the man?" Yu Yan screamed in anger. Her eyes tearing up as she recalled the butler rolling his eyes as death began its process.

Li Jun was silent and staring at her in shock.

"Take butler to uncle Kao, now!" She yelled at the servants and the servants acquiesced this time . They quickly carried the coughing butler away.

Yu Yan turned to her stunned husband. She gentled her voice this time but was far from sorry for the harsh slap. He deserved it.

"Why did you do that Li Jun? Why didn't you just hit me instead of nearly killing the innocent man? I was the one who made you angry. I.... I was the culprit." . Li Jun would have killed the man and she knew it without a doubt.

Li Jun was silent still but his thoughts were loud.

' What did I do? What did I do? I showed her... I showed her my evil...Why did I do that?.. But I could never hurt her, NO. Never her'.... So he had hurt the first man to catch his eye.

"Li Jun? What is wrong? Is this about going public with our marriage or about something else?." Yu Yan shook Li Jun slightly ,trying to get his attention.

"I am sorry. I am sorry... I don't know what came over me just now.." Li Jun hugged her ,comforting his wife.... comforting himself. would she leave him now?

"Tell me. Tell me what's so wrong? Why did you use your temper this way? You nearly killed a man today." Yu Yan knew something else was up.

'Nearly killed? I have KILLED plenty'

"I am really sorry.Is the butler okay?" Li Jun faced her.

"He will be fine. We have the best doctor in the world here" She comforted smiling faintly. Li Jun looked so remorsefull that she didn't have the heart to beat him down all the more. It was a mistake, a spur of the moment thing... she was sure of it.

Li Jun nodded and pulled her up to stand. Curving through the debris left from the chaos ,he took her to the nearby window seat and sat them down.

"Tell me" Yu Yan ordered gently.

"My grandfather gave me a call as soon as I arrived yesterday. He 'adviced' me against making our marriage public. Do you know what that means?" Li Jun surrendered.

" But. I don't understand. Didn't you say that he approved of our marriage before?" Yu Yan had only seen Li Jun's grandpa from his pictures but they had married with his approval.Why was he doing this now?"

"Yes, as long as it was a quiet marriage. He thinks we will divorce sooner or later."

"WHAT? THAT OLD MAN? What does he think of me??" She was indignant.

"He got wind of my preparations to go public before the year ends and he is unhappy with that.". His grandpa had even threaten him using the shareholders meeting early next year , even though he knew how crucial it was for Li Jun next year.

Yu Yan was about to ask him why he hadn't told her about his plans when Li Jun added.

" He also sent me pictures of you hanging out with Mr Pan , Mr Wei and Mr Duan as proof of your illicit relationship with other men"

Yu Yan gasped. "What the fuck?"

"I know you are not doing anything like that but still.." But still it had triggered something in him. Especially towards Ren Hao Pan. It hurt to think that she had had options apart from him.

"...But what?. You mean I MIGHT one day right? " Yu Yan was angry now.

Li Jun tried to catch her hand but she pulled away.

"It's not like that. But just now you were really against going public. What was I to think?? I thought maybe you had other plans?" Li Jun confessed.

Yu Yan sighed. I guess she wasn't the only one insecure in this relationship.

"I just didn't want my friends to think of me as a gold digger you know. Once they know that I married someone rich, they wouldnt treat me the same way anymore. sure, they will like me more for the money but I... I wouldnt have any respect from them...". She hung her head loosely.

" See..even your granpa thinks I am not good enough for you". She said in resignation. "I am not good enough for you , Li Jun. I also agree with your grandfather".
