Chapter 123: Things Li Jun knew.
"Yes ma'am, my husband is not well. I want to take one week off. Ma'am you can't cut my pay... I..I know..But! ..Okay.Okay. Yes I am sorry. Yes, sorry..Yes. Sorry ma'am. I will not do this again" Yu Yan hung up and tiredly look towards Li Jun who was lying on the bed.
"My boss said she will cut my pay this time.She did not allow for any negotiations"
It was only fair but Yu Yan was still sad.
" She didn't agree to give you paid leave? What a bad boss" Li Jun said sitting up on the bed.
Yu Yan nodded as she helped him up and put a pillow behind his back.
"Come.I will pay you for this one week" Li Jun joked as he continued to act sickly.
Yu Yan gave a smile and quickly went to get Li Jun's wallet from her dresser and passed it to him.
Li Jun was stumped. Did she really need money that badly?
"What's wrong? why arent you giving me the money?" Yu Yan held out an opened hand towards Li Jun.
Li Jun laughed weakly and handed her his entire wallet.
"You are so cheap. You don't even know how to use your husband's money. Don't you know that I am filthy rich?" Li Jun scolded with a gentle smile.
"If I used you, you would never fall in love with me in the first place. Businessmen are the most shrewd people in the world, they only fall for girls who would not empty their bank accounts" Yu Yan stated the fact, haughtily.
"I don't know about the other businessmen but I, for one, would fall for you even if you were a girl who would empty my bank account or even if you were a man, even if you were an animal" Li Jun declared.
"No need to get so passionate, it doesn't suit you" Yu Yan smiled cheekily and took out a wad of cash from his wallet.
"What do you need the money for?" Li Jun asked. He had already set up a trust fund for the orphanage personally and Yu Yan knew about it.
"You'll see" Yu Yan only smiled. Christmas was just around the corner and she was saving money for a Christmas gift for him. She wanted to get him something awesome this year for a change.
"Always so secretive.If I die, you will regret not telling me" Li Jun joked. He really did not mean anything by it so he was surprised when Yu Yan suddenly covered his mouth.
"Let your enemies die, you can't die before I do" Yu Yan scolded him , her face looking serious.
"What kind of logic is that?" Li Jun chuckled at her serious expression. " You need to live longer than I" Li Jun answered easily.
"I have no one but you. You have mom in law, your family,your friends and your work" Yu Yan explained emotionally. "When we have children, they would need you more than they need me" Yu Yan continued.
Li Jun quietly stared at her beautiful face.

She had said but Uncle Kao had told him that there was very little chances of her getting pregnant in this lifetime.
The herbal medicines she was taking everyday might help increase their chances but it was only a 10 percent chance.
Also, uncle Kao had told him that the cause of infertility was not some internal disorder but an external one.
When uncle Kao had checked her pulse and done other checkup on her, he had found that her infertility was due to continuous physical trauma done on her body while she was still a young child.
Li Jun knew for a fact that she had not been sexually abused because he knew from their wedding night but that only meant that she had suffered physical assault for a long time to cause her womb to be so badly damaged.
That explained her excessive period cramps and her irregular periods.
What had this strong woman endured in her past and why is she still so kind and so full of love for everyone?... rather than be bitter to the world like he was.
She really was an enigma to Li Jun.
Li Jun did not let his sadness for her show on his face.
"Let us both live happily. When I die, I will take you with me and when you die, you do the same" Li Jun gently caressed her hair. This woman deserved all the happiness in the world and he intended to give it to her.
"I wouldn't take you with me when I die. You will need to take care of our kids " Yu Yan said full of surety.
Li Jun only smiled indulgingly.
