Chapter 5: Trouble
It was an understatement to say that they were hungry.
After their wedding dinner they had driven directly to the beach villa.
After a night of passion they only had some coffee and toast in the afternoon after they woke up and when they had woken up in the evening they had eaten some left over cake and some cookies they had brought back from their wedding reception. Then they had another intensive work out the whole night and early morning again. All their stored body fats were over worked by now.
Honey moon stage of love was truly difficult without being prepared with enough sustenance.
They didn't talk to each other as they dug into their food and ate heartily. Li Jun felt guilty somehow as it was his fault for about 95 percent.
He promised himself to remember small important things from now on. He wasn't a bachelor anymore.
" Its fun!"Yu Yan suddenly said with a laugh.
"Huh?" Li Jun was confused .
"My life ; our honeymoon ,I mean. I have never been this happy" She explained.
Li Jun smiled at her lovingly and promised to give her more happiness in the coming days.
" I never thought I would one day be a happily married women ,have a family of my own ." She smiled but a little sadly this time .
Li Jun reached across the table grabbing her hand.
"Don't think about your past life. Just think of me from now on ok?" He knew she didn't have a happy life in the past and really wished he could go back in time and rescue her.
Yu Yan smiled bravely.
"Ofcourse. I can't think of sad things.I need to work hard for our family. We should also think about kids after a year of two ,what do you say?" She said with excitement. She wanted to have a small boy or girl resembling her one day.
"We can start now if you want. We just need to go to the bathroom together for awhile... and be quiet" He winked at her seductively. She rolled her eyes and the previous happy mood returned.
After their heavy lunch Yu Yan proposed to go grocery and souvenir shopping while Li Jun wanted to go home and 'rest'.
"I want to go shopping" She crossed her arms and pouted.
"We can go tomorrow honey.I am tired let's just go home and rest for today" Li Jun said acting weak.
"So you are saying that if we go home , all we will do is go to sleep?"She asked suspiciously.
"Ofcourse!"Li Jun acted offended.
"Promise?" She raised an eyebrow.
"How can I promise something so silly.If anything other than sleep happens its nothing unnatural" He replied defensively.
"Okay you go home then. I will go do the shopping alone" She turned and stormed off.
He caught her simply by reflex and stopped her. She pulled back but he didn't let her go. She looked up and glared.
"let go" She warned.
"I will go with you" He gave up easily. His wife had such a fast temper. He took her hand and walked to the car.
First they went to the mall. She bought some shirts for him and some for her. There were some nice scarfs and she bought two. They ate ice cream and wondered around the mall, chatting and laughing about silly things. They were having a good time.
After sometimes Li Jun went to the restroom and Yu Yan was looking at some accessories. Suddenly someone tapped her on the back. She turned around.
"OMG ,its really you, Yu Yan what are you doing here?"
"I came to play football" She rolled her eyes at her stupid question.
"Hahahahahhaa...as rude as ever I see.Afterall what can you expect from an orphan who supports herself by sleeping around?" Su Bian covered her mouth and giggled prettily.
'arrgh just my luck ' .Yu Yan thought to herself.
Su Bian was her previous college senior.She was the perfect girl from school who everyone praised.Smart and with good looks. But it was just Yu Yan's luck that the guy who asked her out was Su Bian's beloved ex boyfriend and she had even dated him on a whim for a few days. Weeks after their breakup Su Bian had waited for her after class and confronted her as a husband stealing bitch. Needless to say a fight broke out and Yu Yan beat her badly making her lose face. The teachers had suspended them for a few days forming a blemish to Su Bian's previously spotless record. Su Bian had hated her since that time even after she had even moved on from her ex boyfriend to a new guy.
She always tried to bully her whenever they met.It was getting old.
"Did I say something wrong? everyone knows about your slutty behavior" Su Bian smirk. Her two companions nodded in confirmation.
"I don't have time for your crap.Just go away"Yu Yan said impatiently.
"Yu Yan! " One of Su Bian's companion yelled attracting other people's attention. Yu Yan groaned inwardly.
"Don't try to act pious.We all know you sell yourself.Otherwise a poor orphan like you,how can you support yourself. You don't even have a job " She sneered.
"How would you know if I have a job or not?" Yu Yan replied tiredly.
" Don't try to change the subject. Look at you even now.You are wearing diamond earings from this season of Tj company worth more than 3 million dollars. How can you afford it without your sugar daddy?" Su Bian smirked and pointed out.
'Huh? this small earing Jun gave me is 3 million dollars?' she thought to herself and quickly touch it to guard against thieves.
Her action was seen as confirmation of guilt by the passers-by and people gave her dirty looks.
"You are honestly a stain on woman kind. Even if you are poor ,do you need to sell your body to live in luxury? Even if I were an orphan too, I would never stoop so low like you" Su Bian scoffed.
From the corner of Yu Yan's eye she saw Li Jun walking towards her with a frown. She was embarrassed letting her husband mix in with all this drama.She tried to warn him with her eyes to not come over.
Li Jun saw a small crowd bothering Yu Yan and was mad. 'How dare they bully my wife?'.
Li Jun could tell Yu Yan didn't want him to come over but how could he just let anyone bully the person he loves the most in the world.
"What's going on here?" A masculine voice sounded behind Su Bian. She turned around to see the most good looking man she had ever seen . Silver haired and with piercing black eyes. The aura around him was like a king's -unapproachable.
He sauntered towards her like he owned the entire place . It was love at first sight for Su Bian. But he walked to Yu Yan and put his arms around her? Su Bian was confused.
"Nothing. Let's just go" Yu Yan turned with Li Jun to leave.
"Ha! Such a coward ,can't even face the truth?Why are you hiding your true character from him?" Su Bian spoke quickly, trying to stall the handsome man from leaving.
"What truth ? what character?" It was Li Jun who asked.
"Brother, this lady Yu Yan is my old school mate and I know her very well. She used to sell her body to rich old men during college to buy fancy clothes and bags" She called him brother without any shame and further slandered Yu Yan as if she had really seen her deeds with her own eyes.
"Bags and clothes?" He looked towards his beautiful wife. Yu Yan shrugged.
"See !she can't even deny her sins" Su Bian declared.
The crowd murmured their disapproval....'kids this days'
Looking at the crowd and this stupid girl in front of him saying untrue and ridiculous things...Li Jun was infuriated. But it was not like he could say out loud that he had broken her virginity himself, only a few hours ago. He really wanted to but that would only embarrass His wife.
" What's your name " He asked Su Bian instead.
Su Bian got the chills but answered happily " Su Bian" She smiled shyly. But Instead of acknowledging her ,he turned towards the crowd. Just as he was about to speak, a middle aged man with a few people behind him ran towards Li Jun.
"CEO Li Jun, What a pleasant surprise. We did not expect to see you here today. Forgive our....." The older man spoke and bowed respectfully but before he could finish Li Jun spoke loudly.
" I am this lady's husband. I have known her while she was in college too and I am a person who would never marry her if my wife had a questionable character. I can vouch for my Wife's character" He scoffed loudly and added
"Clothes and bags? I can buy her hundreds of the entire store for her ,why would she go anywhere else?.. You stupid people , can't even see jealousy when you see one " He spoke and turned around taking Yu Yan with him. He fished out his phone and typed a text as they left.
