"D-Did we lose him?" Asked MJ exhaustedly as she leaned against the wall, gasping for breath while Gwen and Peter were in a much better condition thanks to their training.
"Yeah, we're good; he tripped while chasing after us, so we should be good." Said Tut, prompting both Gwen and Peter to look at him while he just winked at them before looking away.
"T-That's good; s-sorry for that, Pete, t-that was my fault." Muttered MJ as she sat down, using this chance to catch her breath while looking at Peter, who shook his head.
"It's fine, MJ; I had backup; not many people can size up to Tut, let alone take him down." Remarked Peter with a slight smile as he dismissively waved his hand before gesturing to Pharaoh, who flexed his biceps while Gwen rolled her eyes.
"Speaking of Flash, why do you even bother dating him? Your guys' relationship has always been all over the place; one month, you two are dating, and the next month, you're not; like, c'mon, just make up your mind." Stated Pharaoh with a raised eyebrow as he folded his arms and looked at MJ while Gwen eyed him in annoyance.
"Haa, I don't know; I've started to ask myself that same question." Said MJ softly with a sigh as she shook her head in confusion before standing up while Peter assisted her.
"Tsk, what are you doing, Tut? Don't give her any ideas!" Whispered Gwen quietly as she eyed Tut, who defensively raised his arms.
"Sorry, I was just trying to help a friend out; chill; you think I don't know the love triangle going on between you three?" Remarked Tut lightly as he whispered back, causing Gwen to blush slightly while huffing in annoyance.
"Hmph, I don't even know what Pete sees in her; she's a stupid, annoying girl who can hardly make decisions for herself and always puts Pete in danger." Said Gwen with a slight tint of red while folding her arms and glancing at Pete, grinding her teeth in annoyance as she saw the way he looked at MJ.
"You're also much more beautiful." Muttered Tut lightly while glancing between Gwen and MJ.
"Exactly! So why does Pete want her instead of me?" Remarked Gwen in confusion as she angrily stomped her foot.
"Eh, I would tell you, but I really don't know; I'm just assuming it's because he's had a crush on her for some time." Said Pharaoh with a shrug of his shoulders while Gwen grumbled under her breath.
"Anyways, let's get going, y'all." Added Pharaoh, clapping his hands and garnering everyone's attention as he pulled out keys from his pocket.
With my words, we all started walking toward the front of the school, toward the parking lot, since as ironic as it was, among the four of us, I was the only one who had a driver's license; Gwen said she was getting her's soon, but that was like three months ago, so I don't know. After several minutes of walking while taking the long path just in case those teachers were still looking for us, we finally arrived at my car, which was really my Dad's old one.
Now, I could've asked for a newer car; hell, I actually have a new car Mom bought me for my sixteenth birthday, but I never use it; I've always preferred this old piece of junk which doesn't even start sometimes.
"Is this thing going to start today or not?" Asked Peter as he walked to the other side and hopped into the passenger seat after practically yanking the door open.
Seeing Gwen trying to pull the door open with all of her might, as funny as it was to watch, I opened the door for her, causing her to look blankly at me before entering the back seat with MJ entering from the same door.
"Welp, we're about to find out, aren't we?" Remarked Tut with a smirk as he twisted the key, and after a few seconds of the engine stalling, it finally rumbled awake.
"Haha, that's what I'm talking about!" Added Tut with a laugh as he manually rolled the window down by twisting the crank and resting his arm out the window.
Reversing out of the spot, I drove us out of the parking lot and into the street as we headed toward MJ's house first since Pete, Gwen, Jean, and I had already agreed on something for tonight. MJ didn't live too far away, so after getting through New York's traffic, I turned down MJ's neighborhood, which was actually really close to Pete and Gwens, before stopping at her house.
"Thanks for the ride, Tut; also, are you guys going to the Halloween party?" Asked MJ as she grabbed her backpack and opened the door before looking at everyone.
"Nah, I heard that party was set up late, so it's probably going to be messy and lame, though I'm damn sure going to the Christmas one; the Christmas parties are always lit." Replied Tut from out the window as he glanced at MJ with a slight smile while Peter shook his head, Gwen just ignoring her altogether.
"Oh, yeah, now that you mention it, I only heard people mentioning it yesterday and today. I'm still going to go; it might still be fun." Said MJ with a thoughtful expression before shaking her head and approaching her house.
"MJ, if you want, Gwen, Pharaoh, Jean, and I plan to-" Asked Peter as he looked at MJ, though before he could finish speaking, Gwen reached from behind him and covered his mouth with her hands.
"What did you say, Pete?" Asked MJ as she turned around and glanced at the car, only to tilt her head in confusion at Gwen and Pete.
After a few seconds, MJ turned back around and entered her house after saying goodbye, prompting Gwen to finally release Pete.
"The hell was that for Gwen!?" Exclaimed Peter in annoyance as he massaged his jaws and looked behind him at Gwen, who folded her arms.
"I should be asking you that! Why are you trying to invite MJ to our scary movie night; we planned this two weeks out; we can't just invite MJ, especially considering she hadn't contributed to anything." Remarked Gwen with a frown as she glared at Peter, though before it could descend into a bigger argument, Tut interfered.
"Stop arguing, you two; Pete, MJ isn't joining; not only is Gwen right, she is also planning to party. Gwen, don't act like we did a whole lot; all we really did was buy some snacks and bring a scary movie." Stated Pharaoh calmly as he looked between Peter and Gwen, who clicked his tongue while the latter of the two huffed in annoyance.
"Hmph, maybe, but we're using my house since my parents will be gone for the weekend, so I have a lot more say in the matter." Said Gwen as she looked at Tut before eyeing Peter, who furrowed his brows.
"What? That's not fair."
"Eh, we are using her house, Pete, so she does get like two votes on the matter." Said Tut lightly, causing Pete to look at him with widened eyes while Gwen smirked in victory.
"Anyways, stop arguing like a pair of losers; if you two don't, it'll be just Jean and I watching movies together." Added Tut while driving through the neighborhood as he glanced at Pete and Gwen, who both subtly smirked at his words.
"Heh, I beat Jean would love that; you know she's got a major crush on you, Tut." Said Gwen with a smirk while Peter nodded in agreement, though Tut merely rolled his eyes.
"Okay, and? Are we just going to expose our friend's crushes now? Cause that's not very cool, just saying." Remarked Pharaoh as he exited the neighborhood, only to enter Gwen and Peter's, which was literally a block away.
"C'mon Tut, don't act like you didn't know about it; can't you hear everything that's happening in America? I'm sure you've long since known about it." Commented Peter as he nudged Tut, who blankly looked at him.
"Yeah, I've known about her feelings, but I've just never brought them up; I like our friend status." Said Pharaoh, causing Gwen to snort as she skeptically looked at him.
"Okay, Tut, you didn't need to lie. Have you seen Jean? She's incredibly beautiful and pretty damn curvy; what 16-year-old boy wouldn't be romantically and sexually interested in her?" Questioned Gwen as she leaned forward, placing her head between both Tut and Peter.
"Ay, I never said I wasn't sexually interested in her; I'm just not romantically interested in her; also, Peter, here's your stop." Remarked Tut as he looked at Peter, who hopped out of the car and walked to his house.
"Seeya in an hour at Gwen's." Said Peter as he entered his house, prompting Tut to drive forward several houses before once again stopping.
"Heh, okay, Tut, whatever you say, but if you wait too long, you may forever lose the chance to be with Jean. I'm no lesbian, but if it were Jean…" Stated Gwen with a smirk as she eyed Tut, who used his superspeed to place her on her front porch before returning to the driver's seat.
"Seeya later, Gwen." Said Pharaoh with a faint smirk as he waved his hand before driving off, while Gwen just shook her head and entered her house.
Driving back home, I passed by the Grey's house and saw Jean through her opened window as she had returned from Professor school for the weekend; waving at her, I parked this old piece of junk into the driveway and hopped out as I entered the house.

So, am I the only one who is secretly hoping that if this is a harem, Gwen will be part of it? 'Cause, I'm damn sure interested in seeing her and Jean get down to business if you know what I mean, but that might be just me.
