Chapter 20: Unworthy 3
A needle suddenly spikes on a handheld sensor devise, a sheild technician had it in his hands, but when he looks over at the hammer, mjolnir, begins to give off a slight glow before eventually a bolt of lightning cracks across the sky above
Feed from the keyhole. Can barely penetrate the cloud cover. The Technician hikes a thumb at another monitor, Squelching with static. It shows an SAR shot of the area, laid over a terrain map.
"Hey, we've got a commercial aircraft coming in right over us,Southwest Airlines Flight." 5434.."
"Reroute it, like all the others." a much older sheild agent responded
"Right. Can I get the passengers some free drinks for the trouble captain sitwell sir!" The technician asked, causing Sitwell to glare at him.
"t'd be a nice gesture." The Technician shruggs off the glare and continues to type into the computer, when he notices something
on another screen, holds up a hand.
"Hold a sec... we got something outside the fence, west side."...He points at the screen. Through the haze, it shows a thermal image huddled beside the fence Sitwell turns on his radio " DeLancey, Jackson -- check it out!" A couple of sheild agents take off in a jeep to investigate
Sitwell looks out the window, something strange catching his attention. We see in the window's reflection that a glow is coming from the hammer containment area. The jeep pulls up as the Agents scan the fence with a flashlight, see nothing unusual.
Looks like we're good here. Must have been another coyotye Just then, the Agents notice a section of the fence has been bent up from the ground, leaving a gap. Before they can call it in, a massive crack of lightning illuminatingthe night sky revealing the silhouette of a large man standing outside the driver's Jackson's side of the jeep. DeLancey looks over, notices.
" Jackson?"
The Agents reach for their weapons. Thor elbowed the driver across the jaw, causing him to drop his weapon. Jackson slumps over the steering wheel, as DeLancey starts to raise the shotgun that he had in his hand at Thor.
Thor reacted quickly, by grabbing the barrel, in DeLancey's hands and yanks it out thrusts the hilt back, smashing the Agent's jaw. Thor reaches into the jeep to grab a rain slicker.
Back with agent Sitwell t he was talking on the phone, and was quickly growing concerned.
Thor, now wearing a "sheild," rain slicker, makes his way across the base. Another sheild agent approaches the jeep, spots the unconscious DeLancey and Jackson. He quickly calls into his radio, Agents down! We've got a perimeter breach!
Back with Sitwell The security monitors started squelching with static and interference Sitwell and the Technician watch the monitors warily On the monitor showing the hammer containment area, Mjolnier starts to crackle with energy, "Get Coulson." Sitwell told him, before he punched an alarm.
Sun was watching all of this with an amused look. Thor maybe an average human but he still was quite skillful, some of the skills Thor had were taught by Sun himself. As he was watching though he fell into a trance, his spirit appearing in the in a familiar place filled with piles of skull heads.
Mistress death smiled, at him, "Hello my love."
"Death?" Sun asked, "What do you need from me?"
"Do you remember when you said about the infinity stone, your brother and Thanos?" Death asked, she raised her index finger in Sun's direction before she lifted his body up and brought him to hers, before laying Sun's body on her, lap, Sun did not resist at all, because she was not a Threat."Yes."Sun replied with a nod, "Did you..."
"No I didn't." Death replied with a smirk, causing sun to frown, "then why did you-" "Thanos will not be messing with Loki's mind I can assure you," Death smile grew, "now our time is up, a human woman is trying to get your attention."
Sun looked slightly confused, Death brought her hands to his cheeks and brung him into a kiss. a moment afterwards she let go and his visage faded.
