Chapter 27: The war had begun.
Ethan's pov.....
He said "Jarvis, found everything you can about number 81." i had hear those words and I knew who that person is. He was tony stark. The ironman himself.
"Shit!!" I said.
After wishpering those words. Number 27 stood up from his seat and bid 250M. I grind my teeth and droped my sign. I knew i can't go against that rich narcissist. Man... how bad my luck is to go in bidding battle against tony stark.
I looked at him again. he had that arrogant smirk on his face. I sighed and left the hall stealthily. I had used fake id. so i wasn't worried about him finding anything about me.
I reached my room in hotel. i wasn't angry about losing in auction but i was in bad mood because i didn't got thos codes. When i checked my phone. i found two voice masseges,
"you are coming back tomorrow, right ??" it was gwen. Suddenly Hearing her voice, all my frustration disappear like smoke.
Ethan clicked on second voice mail "it's our graduation tommorow. you already promised but just reminding...ok bye."
I was planing to find other devices too but i got reminded that. i had promised to attend peter and gwen's graduation ceremony. well they were there during my graduation ceremony. uninvited but still there. I chuckled and started to pack my luggage to catch the erliest flight back.

Genral pov.....
Ethan arrived to qunees at 5 in the morning. he didn't sleep at all and just started his physical routine and after that began to get ready for ceremony. He reached at his old high school at 8:30. he saw gwen and waved his hand. she came toward him giving him a casual hug and then asked about his trip. She was first rank graduate so she was gonna give speech. she called peter who was still absent and the reason was obvious.
She gone on stage and began her speech. at end of speech peter came from behind and kissed her. After that they were gone to take photos with there family.
Ethan was standing little far but someone grabed his shoulder from behind. he obviously knew someone was coming so he wasn't surprised. It was felicia. she was his classmate in school. they were not too close but at least considered each other friends. Well, at least ethan pretended to be.
She punched him at his shoulder and asked "can't you call for even once in past year. I tried to contact you but you had change your number." my expressions didn't change at all. Seeing that see got disappointed look. But still tried to say something.
But ethan was faster. He just gave her his new number and said "here you have it now, call me if you need help with anything." she wanted to talk with him little more but seem to hasitate and before she say Ani. peter shouted and called ethan for photo. he said bye to felicia and walk toward peter and gwen.
he got photos with both of them together then gwen told peter to get one alone with him. she put her graduation Cape on ethans head and clinge to him. he tried to push her but she didn't move and just glared at him. She seems very happy today and peter also doesn't seemes to mind so ethan got over with it. he also took one with peter too.
Then comes their graduation gifts. Ethan handed them both a pendrive and said. "it's has personal AI for both of you, just initiate the program and give it whatever name you want. Then it will be ready to work."
Hearing that gwen jumped and hugged him again in excitement. She knows about alice and knows about it's capability.
Well, What he gave them wasn't as good as current alice but it was good nevertheless.
Peter also thanked him as he said "i was going to ask you to make me one if you didn't gave me today. It will make my other work very easy. Thanks man." then he also hugged ethan.
Suddenly gwen pulled ethan to side and said "you are not even going to pretend that you are keeping your promise." Then she glanced toward falicia and said again.
"Arleast, Don't ignore her like that." ethan knew what gwen was talking about. it was the onsided made up promise from before.
Few days ago when he had came back from newyork and gwen had gotten angry or acted to be. And he had asked her. how can he make it up to her. Well that was mistake.
Maybe just to make it seem serious but She had whispered in his ears rather than saying out loud
"you have to go on a date with falicia for once." She jad said. That's why ethan thought that it was ridiculous.
'Wasn't what she was asking was too much for just forgetting to notifing her. about me returning to my own house.' ethan thought.
He had dismissed it there and then. but said yes to her just to not drag it any longer. he thought she was just trying to tease him and forget about it.
But Returning to present here they were again. she continue "apparently, she had this big crush on you. she asked me if i can help, and i kind a own her a favor so..." she stared at ethan for while but he didn't say anything just stared back.
"Come on, what's the problem it's just one date... it's not like I'm asking to make her your girlfriend or something....." she said with pretty please....kind a look. But those things don't work on ethan. he maybe having strange feelings but he wouldn't get blinded by them.
"NO... NEVER HAPPENING." he said. Giving this thing a rest. He didn't want to stay here any longer to not give her chance to discuss it any further. So he said good bye to both and left Gwen was making faces but he just ignored it and didn't stop.
He again started his training after reaching home.
But at night alice notified him about a sudden bomb blast in newyork. there were no causalities because it had happened far from residential area. But there was no further news.
Little did ethan knew. that news of the blast he had ignored casually was the biggining of terrible destruction to come. that will change the geographi of the whole newyork city.
Little did he knew. that the war had already begun.
