After separating the gatekeeper from them, he thought how can he defeat him? His opponent had the best defense from what he understood from Rudra.
Plus, he had a weapon that can neutralize any energy.

He sent 4 RED towards him. Which the puppet sliced them. But he failed to sense Gojo who appeared behind him.
Gojo used his infinity to max output and throw the Puppet forward, Gojo successfully made the puppet lose his Sword.
Then he took the sword. Then he disappeared and appeared on top of the puppet.
Gojo smiled, he already faced such types of opponents in the past.

He defeated Him. But cannot able to protect her.
Then suddenly he remembered his friend's words.
"Are you the strongest because you're Satoru Gojo? Or are you Satoru Gojo because you're the strongest?"
When his friend asked him, he can not able to answer his question. Not because he doesn't know what to say. It's because he is not honest with his own emotions at that time.
If Satoru Gojo is the strongest because he came from the Gojo clan and inherited powerful techniques.
Then without Those powers, he is nothing and he would become a different person without those powers. Maybe he would have a normal life.
If he is the strongest because he is Satoru Gojo. He is still BE 'Satoru Gojo'.
It means his powers are not what make him Satoru Gojo. His personality and experience make him Satoru Gojo.

When Gojo was affected by Riko's death, Geto was there for Gojo. He was there to hold him back.
Back then when he was swamped with mission after mission after he became 'the strongest'. But he failed to help his friend's problems.
He did notice something wasn't quite right with his friend and asked about his well-being, but Geto didn't open up his emotions to tell him.
And Rudra is doing the same things as him. Hiding his emotions and choosing to be alone.
Just like how Geto who went on the lone path Rudra also showed the same signs
Gojo knows Rudra didn't say his feelings and he is confused and scared.
He has to save that kid.

(Rudra pov)
Rudra distanced himself from the creature. The sudden shockwave shattered the pieces of ice on its surface and the tree's roots. Eyes and lips protruded all over its face and arms, making it a truly bizarre sight. Yet, that was only the beginning.
Pop! Pop! Pop!
As its body swelled, it became a large, solid clump of meat. Arms and legs popped out everywhere. Eyes, nose, lips, and ears formed all over its body without missing any of the newly formed bits as well.
Rudra: Is that your true self? How beautiful! At least in comparison to your original form!
Jin Woo who appeared with his sword attacked the clump of meat. And Darkness swords attacked the creature and it roared and attacked him. Then he jumped backward and dodged her meat hand.
The dozens of arms sticking out of the clump simultaneously lifted their hands forward.
Slime who is using wind magic to fly, attacked her with ice magic but then.
Slide!
Even as dozens of arms formed a water magic barrier, it still had some free hands to do other tasks.
Crack!
And Slime attacks failed on her.
Rudra can feel the creature laughing at them.
A water magic barrier formed in front of the clump of meat. A single barrier was incredibly strong by itself, but barriers as many as the existing arms formed on top of each other, and All of their attacks failed to penetrate them.
Rudra smiled and he used his hidden skill.
[Blood Spears ]
Out of nowhere, more than 1000 Spears appeared in the air which is made by blood. Rudra pointed at that creature. The next second all spears rushed at her. This skill looks the same as how Gilgamesh used his Gate Of Babylon.
Then all spears destroyed the barriers and stabbed the creature's body.
??? : Ahhhhhahhh!
These spears are not only strong enough to break the barriers but can also suck Mana or energy and life force. This is a win-win skill for him.
This Skill is great and had the potential to grow.
Waterspouts cracked through the frozen lake and gushed out. Simultaneously, the lips on the clump of meat began to murmur spells, each different from one another.
Whoooosh! As the tree vibrated, it let out a low cry. Rudra could feel the tree's enormous mana getting sucked in by the clump of meat.
'This is cheating,' Rudra thought as he clicked his tongue.
The way this clump of meat attacked was beyond any norm and known standard, but he couldn't stand and stupidly watch the creature prepare its spell.

Suddenly all spears turned bright red and exploded on the spot.

Slime: So cool! He is on a different level.
Jin-woo stared at Rudra's fight.

The meat clumps the lower body since the upper body had been destroyed and it was mostly indistinguishable from its lower body nevertheless, what resembled a lower body was largely ripped away. From the monster's disgusting injury, something that looked like blood streamed out of its body.

A/N: well I tried to bring up Gojo's feelings and how he feels about mc. I gave him a reason to save and guide Mc to become better. Gojo has a big impact on Rudra's life in the future. Mc still didn't show his true feelings and Mc had many flaws as a character. So he needs character development and Gojo is correct for him.
