The Ancient One lifted her teacup and took a sip.
As she poured herself a fresh cup of hot tea, she continued, "Every year, there are people who hear the voices of their dead loved ones. They claim that their loved ones are still alive, trapped somewhere. Those voices guide these people to rescue them, to the place of the seal."
"So, the culprit is the Soul Eaters?" Jack furrowed his brow, deep in thought.
"I cannot say sure, but it's the most likely answer," the Ancient One shrugged. "Of course, to confirm this, you need to go to where the place was sealed and investigate."
"That's a good idea."
Jack looked at Wanda by his side and spoke softly, "So, shall we go and see? If your parents are truly alive, I won't just stand by."
The last words were merely a comfort.
He knew very well that Wanda's parents were already dead, and not many people could perform of resurrection.
Wanda appeared bewildered, and after hearing the Ancient One's explanation, she realized that the voices of her parents she had heard before might certainly have been manipulated by this creature.
When hearing Jack's words, she looked up at him with a confused expression, not saying anything but simply nodding.
The confusion and sadness on Wanda's face saddened Jack's heart, causing a surge of anger inside him.
He turned his gaze to the Ancient One, an anger glint flickering deep in his eyes.
"So, where is the place was a seal?"
The Ancient One paused for a moment and answered, "About that, you can ask out the wife of Wenwu. She was once a part of the member there."
'Wenwu's wife? Ying Li?'
Jack realized this as he thought about that special woman.
No wonder she was so strong. So, she was born in that place.
If that were the case, then things would be easier to find.
After all, he was the one who saved her, and It shouldn't be too much to ask for a favor, right?
However, when he bids farewell to the Ancient One and goes into Ta Lo with Wanda, finding the courtyard he had visited last time and explaining their intentions to Ying Li.
The response he received was unexpected.

Jack lifted the covers and gently stroked the person's beautiful hair.
"Let me hold you for a while."
Wanda snuggled in Jack's embrace, speaking in a muffled voice.
Jack stiffened for a moment, instantly understanding why Wanda acted this way.
Today had been too hard for her. She thought her parents were still alive, but the possibility seemed not true.
Jack didn't speak but held the woman tightly in his arms.
At this moment, his heart was extremely calm, empty of any romantic feelings, filled only with endless pity.
The two of them fell asleep in each other's arms, spending a silent night.
The next morning, a helicopter landed outside the courtyard, its propellers' noise waking Jack from his sleep.
The warmth of the person in the bed still remained, but she was no longer there.
Jack got up and freshened up.
After he was ready, Wenwu came to knock on his door.
"Mr. Wayne, we can leave now."
Checking the time, it was nearly 8 o'clock.
They skipped breakfast, assuming that nobody had the appetite for it.
Following Wenwu, the two of them went outside. There was a large open area where the helicopter could land.
Wanda had already boarded the plane, and Ying Li was waiting for them.
Judging by the situation, it seemed that he was the last one to arrive.
As everyone saw him approach, they turned their attention to him.
Jack directly held Wanda's hand and walked toward the helicopter, leaving words behind.
"Let's go."
