Chapter 50: Chapter 50: Athena
"You're generous," said Grandmaster, looking at the unconscious Jack before turning to Athena, who looked pale and weak.
"I don't understand you, gods. Giving away your divine power to someone who almost killed your own brother," he continued.
Athena sat slumped on the sofa, her mouth slightly opened as she took shallow breaths. Her face was pale, and she looked even more delicate and beautiful.
"I was just trying to save myself," Athena replied, rolling her eyes and looking helpless. She had lost almost half of her divine power just to suppress the energy inside Jack's body.
"If he can't control it, we'll all die!" she exclaimed.
"Well, you've piqued my interest in him even more." Grandmaster remarked, showing even greater interest in Jack.
Jack feels very comfortable.
Yes, very comfortable, like having pairs of soft boneless hands massaging every cell in his body.
But at the same time, it's also very annoying because it feels like his brain is being put into a blender, buzzing.
He doesn't know where he is but vaguely remembers winning a championship fight, so he should be able to leave now.

Jack feels like he's floating in mid-air, very comfortable. He tries to open his eyes but can't.

He could feel another type of energy in his body and was about to investigate when suddenly, a person appeared before him as if out of nowhere as if they had not been there a second ago.
This scene startled Jack, but immediately he was drawn to the unique features of the person in front of him due to her beauty.
To be honest, this woman is the most attractive one he has ever seen so far. For a moment, he was a little stunned, looking at her.
"Tsk tsk tsk, for a Human, your figure is a bit too much," Athena still wore that white dress, hugging her arms, and seemed to be demonstrating her impressive assets to Jack.
She looked up and down at Jack's body curiously and teasingly, making sounds of admiration and surprise.
"Oh, my God!" Athena's hot gaze brought Jack back to his senses. He then realized that the thin blanket had slipped off due to his sudden movement, and now he was only slightly away from being completely naked.
Jack inexplicably felt a sense of proud. He hastily revealed himself and tried to appear calm as he looked at Athena.
"Who are you?" he asked. He could sense that the woman was not ordinary. After all, she was sitting next to Grandmaster earlier.
"Who am I?" Athena repeated with a smile, "I'm your lifesaver. What's wrong? Is this how you treat your benefactor?"
"Lifesaver?" Jack was stunned for a moment, then suddenly realized, "You! The energy you gave me was from you?!"
Speaking of the savior, it seems that's the only option. Those energies balanced his energy, and he no longer had to worry about dying.
And as long as he had time to grow stronger, he could absorb those energies sooner or later.
Thinking about this, he couldn't help but feel hopeful about the future, but Athena seemed to know what he was thinking and brought him back to reality with a sentence.
"Just borrowing it for the time being! And those powers cannot last forever, so don't be too happy too soon."

Jack listened quietly, lying on the bed and thinking to himself. Morag should be easy to find.
After hearing Athena's words, he suddenly realized that the only thing that could counter the energy of the Infinity Stones was another Infinity Stone.
In other words, if he wanted to stay alive, he had to find another Infinity Stone and absorb its energy to balance the space energy within his body.

Athena gave Jack one last look before leaving.

"I don't think I'm that good-looking," he added.
"Hehehe, it's just a way of thanking you for not killing Ares. My father quite likes him, and it's also an investment," Athena replied.
She stopped, turned around, gave him a sultry glance, winked playfully, and disappeared.
"I see," Jack muttered to himself.
Jack smiled. He had already guessed the other's identity. This surprised him a bit.
