Arc 2: Magic! YAY!
...
I was dreaming?
I mean, I knew I was dreaming, so this was more of a lucid dream all things considered.
But as I was saying...
I was dreaming.
In the dream, I was in a room.
My room.
With all my stuff to boot. A single bed made of dark brown wood, a study table full of books, an attached closet filled with all of my and my brother's clothes, a small old TV and a PlayStation 4 for which me and my brother had to beg our father to buy.
The room had white walls with one wall being chocolate brown. There was an active fan on the ceiling and a turned off tubelight on the brown one. The wall adjacent to the bed had big sliding glass doors which opened right into the balcony.
It was a small room all things considered, but it was mine. And that was all that mattered.
It was my safe space so to say. Where I could relax in the peace of my home.
Well, technically it belonged to both me and my brother... But he was too small (10 years old) to sleep alone, and he slept with our parents. So it belonged to me more.
Anyways,
In the dream, I was sitting in front of the TV with the gaming console plugged in. And I was playing a game on it.
For the life of me, I couldn't exactly make out what type of game it was but the best I could describe it would be GTA meets Terraria and for some unknown reason it also had... Barbies?
Anyways,
Just as I was about to finish off the final boss... who was a Sith Lord Jar-Jar Binks for some reason, I felt a thrum echo through the room.
I stopped the game in confusion and stood up to locate where it was coming from. After walking around the room, I located it to be coming from the closet.
I readied myself to open it, feeling very nervous for some reason, but I felt that I HAD to open the closet or else I would lose something very important.
In a quick burst I opened it and brought my hands up in a fighting pose and just to see-
Clothes.
Lots of clothes.
I slowly brought my hands down as I confusedly looked at the unorganised pile of clothes.
'The weird noises... thrums were coming from... clothes?'
That felt anticlimactic.
But I quickly got my answer when the pile of clothes started... ruffling.
I quickly got my guard up, even grabbed a bat from near me.
The ruffling quickened and then two small shadows jumped out of the pile of clothes and-
...
Cute.
That was the first thing that came to my mind when I looked down at the two adorable beings responsible for all the confusion.
A Kitty and A Puppy.
The small kitty was a lean one but was unbearably cute and had black fur all over her body, with small paws and two small cat ears. But what clued one into her special nature was the ever-changing colour of her eyes.
Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, White and many, many more.
Changing as time passed.
The kitty was very calm (and very cute) as she innocently looked up at me with her beautiful eyes.
On the other hand, the small puppy was filled with energy as he jumped around while also excitedly looking around the room in obvious excitement.
The small puppy was slightly on the fatter side but that only added to his overall cuteness, he had a pure white coloured fur that went all around his body and two triangular ears on the top of his head that pointed up towards the sky, he had small black eyes that were filled with innocent happiness added with a tail that was waving excitedly. As with the small Kitty, he also had a special trait with him that distinguished him from any of others of his species, and that was the occasional spark of golden coloured electricity that sparked starting from around his eyes and ending on the tip of his tail.
The two looked at me with clear happiness within their small innocent eyes while I looked at them with softness and slight exasperation.
As if on cue, together they-
"Meow!" "Woof!"
'They're just SO CUTE!' I inwardly gushed as I crouched low and started petting them and playing with them.
And judging from the purrs and the excitedly waving tail from the two, they were enjoying it.
I had felt and instant connection with them. From the moment each of us looked at each other, I had realised we were connected.
They probably knew it too. Cause despite their seemingly harmless appearance I could see the glimmer of intelligence within their eyes.
Eyes were said to be the windows to the soul for a reason afterall.
One could see and learn a lot from just looking into another's eyes.
Anyways,
I had also come to realise our connection due to the obvious clues too.
The small kitty was supposed to be the representation of Kaleidoscope, and the small puppy was supposed to be the representation for Power Manipulation.
And...
And I loved them.
They were a part of me. A part of my soul and being itself.
The closest beings that I could compare them to be would be the Zanpakuto spirits from Bleach.
But... As I looked at the both of them running after each other a smile graced my lips.
For now, I wasn't going to be thinking much into this.
For now... I would be playing with my cute and adorable pets.

And Done!
I was inspired to make Avatars for the powers by the multiple Bleach related fanfics that have been recently been floating around.
Also my love for cute things seem to seep into my writings too.
But all things considered, I'm happy with this chapter.
Suggest some nicknames for the pets.
Also, maybe suggest some pairings for the MC. I'm currently stuck on either Spider-Gwen, Squirell Girl, Scarlet Witch or Invisible Woman.
No harem. Just for information.
