After leaving the square building, Star-Lord closed the door back to its original state and found a concealed spot behind a broken structure. The piece of debris was large enough to cover Baymax's massive form. From there, they could observe the situation around the square building and gather timely information.
"Big guy, when someone comes, remember not to make any noise, okay? Otherwise, we'll both be in danger," Star-Lord instructed Baymax.
"No problem, Baymax promises not to make any noise," Baymax cutely nodded in response.

Star-Lord looked speechlessly at Baymax in front of him, feeling that bringing him along might have been a mistake. He shook his head helplessly, but since he had already made the decision, he had to bear the consequences.
He silently cleared all potential noise sources around Baymax's feet and body, then reiterated his instructions. After that, Star-Lord stuck his head out and began observing the situation around the square building.
"They are Kree!" Upon seeing the three figures appearing in his view, Star-Lord, who was familiar with various factions and races in the galaxy, quickly recognized their identities. "I just don't know which one of the Kree Corps they belong to. If it's Accuser Ronan's men, it could be troublesome; that guy is infamous for being insane."
"They seem to be here for the same purpose as you, looking for something," Baymax whispered softly behind Star-Lord.
"That's right," Star-Lord admitted, "We both came here to find an artifact called the Cosmic Orb. I was about to ask if you've seen it or have any information related to it, but their arrival interrupted me.
If you know where the Cosmic Orb is, tell me quickly. It's worth a fortune. Once we sell it, I'll give you a share of the money, and then you can find someone to take you back to Earth."
"The Cosmic Orb...
I'm sorry, I don't know what it is, nor do I have any information about it. I accidentally ended up in the cosmos two years ago, and I'm not familiar with interstellar matters."
Hearing Star-Lord's words, Baymax felt somewhat tempted. However, the terrifying power of the Cosmic Orb, capable of destroying an entire planet, made Baymax eventually lie to Star-Lord and hide the truth about the Cosmic Orb within itself.

After a few roars came through the communicator, the three Kree members bowed their heads in panic, apologizing and assuring that they would complete the mission.
Star-Lord was far away and didn't know what command was given on the other end of the communication. However, the clear mention of "Lord Ronan" from the leader of the Kree team reached Star-Lord's ears. His habit of wearing headphones and using a Walkman didn't seem to have affected his hearing.
"Accuser Ronan! I didn't expect these people to be under the command of that madman. Fortunately, they haven't found the Cosmic Orb yet. It seems I still have a chance.
But now I should leave. If they haven't found it in that building, they will soon expand their search area, and it won't be safe here anymore.
Yondu should be arriving soon too. I can't let him catch me, or else..." Star-Lord shuddered involuntarily at the thought.
"Big guy, I'm about to leave here. But since you and I are both from Earth and you are new to the interstellar scene, my ship could use an extra hand. Do you want to come with me to my ship and leave together?"
