Chapter 10: CHAPTER 7
Dante instinctively gets back up on his feet with a ninja backflip and dodges Batman's roundhouse kick which smashes through a pillar of wood.
Wood chunks flung across Dante's dead serious face, he was now in full combat mode. Dante at one point had also joined the Navy SEALs, so not only was he a soldier, but also a highly trained marine.
Dante and Batman go back and forth in hand to hand combat, Dante was way faster as he managed to even land one punch right on Batman's face. His super-speed and agility were in full gear thanks to his upgraded Gamer System! The Gamer System had increased his speed, strength, and intelligence ten-fold!
Batman's head actually jerked back, blood leaked down his right eye and mouth. The old bastard wipes his blood off from his mouth and spits out blood onto the wooden floor of the temple. Batman right now was in hardcore mode. He lunges and tackles Dante against the wall and starts punching him with rapid jab strikes.
Dante swiftly moves his head left to right dodging all of Batman's punches with relative ease, his mutant powers were finally kicking in and he was getting a hang of it. He could sense each of Batman's strikes and could even predict his next punches!
"Is that all you got old man!" Dante mocked Batman so he can mess with his mind.
Batman actually takes the bait and headbutts Dante right in his young face. Dante's blood splatters onto Batman's black-masked face(Remember his mask is like Kakashi's right now).
Dante wanted Batman to do such a brutal strike, he had him right where he wanted him.
Dante wraps his arms around Batman's neck and slams his body against the wall! The wooden wall explodes! A large carter is seen behind Batman.
Dante's super strength was at full force as he held Batman's neck in a chokehold, for a teenager of 16 years old Dante was very powerful. He could easily lift up 1-ton! Due to his super powers and mutant/bloodline powers. It seemed Dante was holding back from killing Batman. But what exactly was Dante's mutant powers? He had an idea that his mutant powers kind of resembled the powers of a symbiote from the Marvel Verse because he was copying Batman's every moves.
Batman may have been a genius in combat and overall human life, but his one weakness was that he had no powers. Without his BatSuit, he was like any other mortal human.
"Uggggh! When did you get so strong!?" Batman coughs out blood. Dante could smell the scent of booze reeking from Batman's mouth. His sense of smell was stronger than ever, he could smell a human or animal scent from miles away. This was possible with the Gamer's Mind skill which amplified Dante's mind and sensory abilities.
Dante had defeated Batman on one and one combat, however, Batman was slightly drunk which was strange for someone who was serious and focused all the time. He had the whole City of Gotham to protect. His duty as a hero, no, as a Dark Knight was bigger than most superheroes. He kept balance amongst the world.
Dante lets go of Batman's neck and kept up both fists in a striking stance, " I need to ask you some questions." He boldly demands with a snarl.
Batman looks him dead in the eye, "Sure. After you tell me how you got your powers,"
Things were about to get interesting...
