Chapter 1: Calm Yourself
Sometimes there are times where you need to do things, knowing in your heart you don't want to do it, put down your pride, take a deep breath, calm yourself. And get to work.

"Get the fuck out the way idiot."
A corporate executive scolded a young janitor with threating eyes as he walked down the luxurious corridor, he was very handsome and young appearing to be in his early 30s but when he looked at the person in front of him it was like he was looking at a cockroach you find in your house, quite an eyesore.
The young janitor quickly moved out of the way with his mop and lowered his head not daring to look at the executive, he had heard and experienced how ruthless they were just for the slightest mistakes.
Even after the janitor moved the executive purposely bumped into him and almost knocked him over.
"Humph"
As the executive walked passed the corner the janitor finally moved and took a deep breath, calmed his shaking hands and continued to mop the floor as he did before.
The janitor looking like a man in his mid-30s, even though he was 22. His name was Tethien, he had quite ragged hair and an unkempt beard, his facial features were well off under all that hair, and his structure was very robust, half a head taller than other people.
People nowadays when thinking of young people they would think they would be youthful and cheery students or even people starting their career, they never think that one would work such a 'lowly' job as a janitor.
But life gives you problems and you do your best to solve them, Tethien's father died of lung cancer a few years back, leaving his mother to do most of the work at home, luckily he was the only child so it wasn't the worst, they could make ends meet with a little extra each week.
Once Tethien finished high school and got a job, things got easier for the two of them, once they saved enough his mother declared that she wanted to go back to her homeland and retire there. Tethien didn't disagree, he knew that his mother was very depressed by the death of her husband. But ever since his mother went back he had never heard from her since. He wondered what happened to her but he had bigger problems.
A month after his mother left the company that he worked at suddenly laid off quite a few of their workers since machines could replace them, him included. And how here he as a janitor for 'Titan's View' a 4-star hotel.

As Tethien was getting ready to get off work, a worker called his name.
"Tethien! Come with me, the higher-ups want to see you."
The other workers looked up and stared at Tethien for a bit and then whispered to each other, they all knew that meeting the boss was never good, not a single person got promoted here so that only meant that they were being punished when the boss called. They looked up at Tethien with pity but they quickly got back to work, they didn't want to be punished either.
Tethien was surprised, he knew he hadn't offended anybody lately... unless it was the executive earlier today, but he only got in the way for a moment.
'Sigh'
Looks like he met quite the ruthless one today.
Tethien put his mop to the side and followed the worker quietly with his head down. They walked a few minutes until they reached the boss's office on the second floor. As the worker opened the door Tethien walked in.
The office was very spacious, it had more room than the place that Tethien was staying at. With space, there were many luxurious items filling it, in just a corner of the room Tethien spotted many name-brand items that were worth even more than he was.
"Tethien."
A cold voice interrupted his thoughts. Looking at the boss he was quite scared of the punishment that he was about to receive, but he knew that he had to endure, there were no more jobs available.
He could not afford to lose this job.
"You have worked here for over a year now haven't you?"
The boss looked at him as he coldly asked.
"Yes, Sir!"
"Since that is the case can you tell me why I received a call today telling me to fire one of my workers?"
He asked that he leaned forward on his chair.
"No, Sir!"
"You naturally know who that worker is don't you?"
He put his hands on the desk in front of him as he looked at Tethien with coldness and interest.
"Yes, Sir!"
"Who?"
The boss raised his brow.
"Me, Sir!"
"Now tell me, do you want to keep your job?"
He said as he revealed a cold smile.
"Yes, Sir!"
"Well since that is the case I will help you but I naturally need something in return to stand for you."
As he said that he pulled out a piece of paper.~

"Do you accept?"
Tethien's breathing got a little heavier as he clenched his fists.
Take a deep breath.
"Yes, Sir!"
"Show me some sincerity."
Tethien's body started shaking a little.
"Bam!"
Tethien fell on his knees.
"Now tell me again. Do you accept!?"
Calm down.
Calm down.
Calm down!
Tethien looked up and stared into the bosses eyes.
"YES, SIR!"

Tethien This is more of a back story, flashback sorta. This was mostly to set the mood for the story well, maybe, idk.
Some indecisive words there.
Also my writing speed is very slow so releases are not guaranteed, it took me 2 and a half hours to make this... granted not all my time was spent on this but this is an example.
So how was it? I would like some opinions, I tried to make it original and decent quality.
