Border of Blathe Kingdom-

A boy is walking alone in a forest. After walking several hours, he looks up, and disappears- actually, he just moved at a speed fast enough to produce afterimages. He lands at the edge of a forest and looks out.

(Commander POV)

We can see the border. There is a chance the enemy is hiding in the forest, but it is unlikely, as we have scouted it out before. I think to myself, after this I will marry her. I scoff thinking that this is a death flag-

Soldier: Commander, watch out!

I glance over, and see a red beam coming from the forest. It's heading straight for us. It's huge, with a diameter of approximately 100 meters. As it touches us, we disintegrate. The last thing I thought was,
